Q: Hi,I have a set of Sony speakers that are a few years old. They have no power cable (nowhere to plug a cable in either) and the aux cable has no jacks. It is just two split wires. How can I connect them to my TV?Thanks,Aaron
They need an amplifier in order to work....You attach the speakers to the amp then the amp to the TV....You could also take the plastic shell off your TV then disconnect the internal speakers of the TV and solder the wire from the speakers you have onto the wire just connected from the TV speakers...You also would probably need to drill a small hole in the plastic cabinet of the TV in order to pass the wire through... also would need to figure out the polarity of the internal wires and also the speaker wire from the cabinet speakers or satellites...also the Impedance must also match..so it could be that you would need to add a resistor in order to match the impedance of the TV's amplifier....
Q: i cant drill a hole through the firewall because there's too much stuff in the way. so can i run the power cable to the power wire from the radio. the radio power wire is what im talking about. can i do that instead of running it to the battery? thanks
back interior the day whilst audio electronics became into evolving from monophonic sound to stereophonic sound, producers of stereo audio electronics precise the left channel enter for monophonic sound (in case you in elementary terms had one enter) and, if there became into no longer something plugged into the magnificent enter jack, the monophonic sound became into allotted to the two left and precise inputs. on condition that mono is fairly uncommon those days, i don't be conscious of if this continues to be everyday on stereo inputs (which includes powered subwoofers), yet you are able to try it. If it isn't the case (plugging it into the left enter purely is going interior the path of the left amplifier), no count in case you split the sign or no longer is in fact a wash. A subwoofer has 2 voice coils on the motive force, one powered by using the left enter and the different powered by using the magnificent enter. in case you purely have, say, the left enter plugged in, you're in elementary terms using the subwoofer with the left amplifier and voice coil. in case you split it, you're actually using the two voice coils. yet, the split itself cuts the sign point in 0.5. So, you have 0.5 as lots sign enter to each amplifier and the output quantity of the subwoofer heavily is not any distinctive than purely plugging in one enter. one element you are able to desire to do is to get a small, low-value stereo amp or receiver, plug the LFE output into one enter, set the amplifier mode to mono, and run the two line outputs to the subwoofer. that would desire to furnish you 2 complete line point inputs to the subwoofer from the only LFE cable.
Q: The power cable is selected according to the cable current ()
The copper core grinding first to the copper core on the flux (rosin or solder paste)
Q: I have a case that mounts PSU on the bottom. I find that I have to twist the SATA power cables 180 degrees to connect to the hard drives. Any tips? I was thinking maybe mounting hard drives upside down.
Upside down drives would work, but they're not likely to fit properly with the existing mounting holes. I ran the power cable to the top drive and worked down from there, so it didn't require twisting. I've also used only the last connector on two different cables. There's nothing wrong with twisting the connector wires, assuming they aren't under tension after installation.
Q: Hi! I want to buy I new Hard Drive but I've got a problem. I have the IDE conector but I don't have the Power Cable. It is connected to my Video Card. Can I add a new one? Can I use a power cable from a optical drive(CD/DVD)? Thanks!
All you need to do is pop down to your local computer store and get a power splitter, just make sure you get the right type, IDE and SATA drives have a different kind of power connector, so just make 100% sure before you buy!
Q: I'm 1000% positive that it's not my monitor's problem.
Mkay, Check all power cables including all motherboard cables, which means the making sure that the power switch cable is in the right pins. If there is no beeps or sounds being emitted when you turn the computer on, you can almost right away assume it is a power issue, make sure the right cables are plugged in is crucial. Make sure everything is seated correctly: i.e. your processor, processor fan, RAM, CMOS Battery, Video Card, Network card (if you have one), etc. Make sure that the power supply itself is turned on, sometimes theres a black switch on the PSU and that could be it. Another idea is (and one problem i had) is to make sure there is no screws that are caught between the motherboard and the case (when you've seated the motherboard in the case) because that can ground the motherboard and it won't work, but i doubt thats the problem. Anyway, for the most part I would say this is a cable problem because the computer should at least turn on regardless of a hard drive or a ROM drive put in. Best of Luck! Any more questions? Feel free to contact me
Q: My cable broke, and I need a new one. This type of 4-pin connection to the PSU: I need multiple SATA connectors, if possible a really long cable. :3 I've been looking everywhere but can't seem to find it, I'm probably just not searching for the right terms. Thanks!

Q: if I buy a new 4 pronged power cable how should i install in the dryer, what should i do with the extra 4th wire of the cable, pls help Thanks
There should be an instruction paper with the plug you buy, as to what should I do with the extra wire or go to Home Depot and ask them. You'd better make sure you know what your doing before you plug it in, maybe get someone over that knows? or, an electrician.
Q: i have a 97 chevy malibu and i need to know where to run the power cable through the fire wall. or where could i get a diagram that is simple enough for me to understand...
if you can fit under you dash you can see that mostly all cars and i say all cars becuase iv been doing this for over 10yrs and all cars have a wire that comes from the stearing colum that goes through a rubber gasket into your engine. What we do is the gasket already has a hole in it push your chair as far back as can go and shimmy under the dash bring a flash light becuase its sometimes hard to see and youll see a round black rubber type thing with a wire already running through it. Thats the one to use you might need a long metel thin rod or use a meter coat hanger. Using black electrical tape, tape some of the power wire to the tip of the hanger and push it through the exsisting whole as far as you can then go into your engine and you should be able to see the wire then just pull it to the length you need to wire to the batter dont forget to install a fuse at least 30amps or more depending on how many watts amp your running it for. Dont worry if the little round gasket pops out it can some times do that once your finished with pulling it out and you know your not going to be pulling on the wire again. Then you can actually push the gasket back into place that only if it popped out if it didnt then your good to go.
Q: Whilst mowing the grass, I cut through the power cable, which was connected straight into the wall and not an adapter, which it usually is. I'm fine, how comes? The mower is a flymo bought last year.
If you do not have an RCD cut out and were holding the plastic grip you were lucky, they are designed for this event but I always plug into a trip switch.
