- Q: Does anyone know if churches rent out chairs for private weddings ?
- I assume you are talking about renting chairs for the reception, and the answer is, it depends. Each church is different. But usually, if you rent the hall, chairs and tables are included in the price. Otherwise, if you have a caterer, they can arrange for the chairs as well. If you use the church for the ceremony, there will be chairs (of course) in the sanctuary. If you have the ceremony in the reception all, then again, the chairs usually come with the space. If for some reason you have to rent chairs, however, the cost is not too bad. We needed to do it for a big party in my family (not in a church), and the rental company arranged to deliver the chairs and pick them up. I don't remember the price right now, but I remember being surprised at how reasonable it was. There are so many big expenses for a wedding. Chairs are going to be only a minor part. - Tom- what a neat product, looking at the links available, the sack just clips on at a certain height. Of course not ANY chair would work, but if there is clearance at that particular height where the clips are on the sack, and there was nothing to interfere with it on the chair, I don't see why it wouldn't The interesting thing is that any chair you would use would go between you and the sack, which of course is counter intuitive. - Do you know anyone who knits or sow you could make pillow cushions out of some old pretty fabric they don't have to all look alike just have to be part of your wedding theme. You could also tie a beautiful elegant bow around the chairs using old sheets or shirts any fabric you have laying around, or you could go out and find a store that sells cheap ribbon, tie it at the top have it flow to the ground. The dollar store sells floral arts and crafts and so does Walmart you could put together some floral designs and find a way to attach it to the back of the chair. It really depends on what kind of chairs they are plastic, wood, etc. Maybe you could use some old sheets you don't use and throw them over the chair. If money is a big issue the thrift store has some nice shirts and pants you can turn into a cushion I don't know how much time you have left to do something about the chairs but I hope this helps or sparks some ideas for you.

- Hotel chairs are usually mass produced, so there will be thousands of them, unless they were custom to that hotel, then there were only a few. Further research will give you some sort of an answer. Or, find a high end antique store and ask their opinion as to the uniqueness of the chair.

- Staples! lol they offer really good quality chairs and they have a HUGE price range from cheap to super expensive, they will also assemble it for free for you and the one I went to even delivered it for free. (A guy in the dept brought it over in his own car, so I just tipped him) Office Max and other similar stores will sell computer chairs as well. You get to try them out too before you pick one.
