- Carpet Pythons are semi arboreal, so they will appreciate some things to climb on when they are young and old. But as they get older they will need some pretty sturdy branches. Depending on what locality you get, it may get anywhere from 6'-12'. Carpet Pythons actually mellow out a lot when they mature a bit. They are fine with being handled, and it'll make it easier on you. You could start off in a big tank, but you have to make sure that the snake feels secure. Lots of hides, branches, etc. Plus you need to make sure there's enough heat for the whole cage. I would start off in a smaller tank if you can, but you don't have to. And one other tip about Carpet Pythons, unlike most snakes, which are usually fed prey the size of the fattest part of the snakes body, they actually can eat prey that are bigger than that, and prefer it.

Step 7Apply a little more liquid detergent to the stain. Step 8Blot again with the cloth. Step 9Flood once more with water. Step 10Blot one last time.

- Rugs that are polypropylene are indoor/outdoor rugs that if purchased at the right place will be soft to the touch and offer the ability to just take them outside and hose them down to clean. They are much, much less expensive than standard rug fabrics and are beautiful. They come in all sizes. I picked up a 5x5 round for $99.00 from Frontgate. That is not possible in regular rugs.

- Not all of them are carpeted. In fact, I don't think I've seen any carpeted ones in many years. Old Cerwin Vegas, had carpeting as I recall. Anyway, it's just cosmetic. The carpeting doesn't show road wear as much as the Tolex vinyl coverings.

- cut the old burnt carpet out but just the top part, not all the way thru the carpet. Go into your closet, in the corner and cut the top fibers out and then take some super glue and lightly spread some glue on the area that you cut out. Then sprinkle the new carpet over the glue and let dry. You'll be just fine. You're just shaving off the top of the bad carpet and going into your closet and shaving off some good carpet to repair what you burned.
