- chairs work on gravity and relaxation. bit taller with a longer seat that part of swings up. irrelivent we wouldn't have survived the sabre tooths.

- It's big, black and chrome. you can wheel it around with your hands. Has levers you push forward to keep the wheels from turning. has 2 leg/foot rests on it. My chair even has removable arms with a push of a button will lift it off. It also has 2 handles on the back rests so someone can push you around.

- a fail proof way to get an idea of how much fabric you will need: Take a tablecloth and drape it over the chair. This will give you a feeling of how much fabric you will need. If the tablecloth is too big, buy less fabric than the table cloth measurements and vice versa. I realize this is not a professional way to measure, but for the layman, it is a great way to get the spacial measurement needed.
- Q: Someone gave me an old chair. Looks cool in a vintage way, but some of the upholstery is worn. This may be a dumb question. But can any idiot reupholster or do you need special training? Are there any cheap ways to cover furniture? For example, I did a search and found a lot of decorative furniture tacks? What are these exactly. Since I have no upholstery experience, I was thinking of buying some cool looking fabric and tack it on the chair? Is that a dumb idea? Also, do furniture tacks stay put? I don't want them falling on the floor and me or my pets getting tacks in our feet.

I tried to do this myself, but the chair was so old that it just made a huge mess when I tried to take off the existing upholstery - dust, fabric particles everywhere. - There are options for refinishing chairs. You can strip down the wood and restain and finish it yourself. You can enlist the help of a professional, or do a Google search for DIY. I, personally, love an eclectic look. But, the chair actually clashes just a bit with the rest of the color scheme. Refinishing it would probably be a good idea.
- Q: It still hurts in the spot where I hit the chair. Wondered if this has happened to anyone else? I am hoping it didn't harm the baby. Don't want to rush and call the doc or anything just yet, but what signs should I look for? Obviously if I start bleeding or something crazy I will go straight to the er, but I am just concerned that I might have just hurt my little one!
- don't worry... I always bump into things and it hurts but I'm sure ur baby is fine.... If the pain continues for over a few hours look for signss like bleeding or baby movements decrased.... But I'm suree ur bby is ok
