- Q: I have a 2003 hyundai tiburon and need to know where in the firewall should i drill my hole to run the power cable i know it goes throught the firewall but where if you have ever done this to a tiburon please let me know.
- There should already be a hole there.
- Q: I need a 3.5mm 5V DC power cable with a USB input. I do not want to order one online. What store would sell this? I already went to Best Buy and Radioshack.
- Sorry okorder / You will be fine and wont be scammed. OKorder is a possibility but its a tad sketchy but its easy to use and not get again scammed but its your choice ofc i don't know the situation your in. im just guessing your worried about ordering online due to scamm websites, it could be that you simply don't have a card that can shop online (or even a card). Also delivery should be fairly quick (most being a week) so you won't be waiting too long either way. Turtle beach is based online, and distribute mainly from their website,(such is most designer accessories) the only reason they have their products in stores are because of their success online, and were able to expand but even then they only ever sell a few of their headsets in stores never their full range, then expecting parts is very rare. p.s i realise its a generic piece of equipment but its quite specific and there are very few things that use somthing that you've specified (not the sized and volt just a DC power cable that has a USB input) , that includes headsets, seriously most headsets don't require a power cable (and it having a power cable doesn't make it good) Hope this helps :S
- Q: I plugged my 110 volt JBL On Stage ipod speakers into a 220 volt socket. The fuse has blown, although I think it has only blown in the power cable and that the Ipod speakers are still fine. I was wondering where I could find a replacement power cable. Thanks for your help
- A 110 ac plug configuration is usually not the same as a 220 ac plug configuration. they look completely different and will not pug into each other...so, I'm not sure how you managed to do that. Now, I am talking about the United States (not sure where you live). Anyway, I'm sure you can find a new power cable online. Or have Best buy order one for you if they don't have it in stock.
- Q: What is resistance of the cable (resistivity of copper is1.7x10^-8)Answer is 14 ohms. But please explain how do we get there in full detail.
- Resistance (R) of a wire is given by: R = ρ.L / A where (ρ) is the resistivity of the wire in Ω.m ; (A) is the cross sectional area of the cable in m? ; (L) is the length of the wire in metres. Radius (r) of one strand = (0.51 / 2) = 0.255 mm = 0.000255 m Cross sectional area of one strand = πr? = (π * 0.000255?) = 2.0428 x 10^-7 m? Total cross section of cable = (12 * 2.0428 x 10^-7 m?) = 2.45 x 10^-6 m? R = (1.7 x 10^-8 * 2000 / 2.45 x 10^-6) = 13.87 = 14 Ω to 2 significant figures.
- Q: I have a usb powered cup warmer. It has a car adaptor. I would like to know if its possible to use it to charge my cellphone in the car, instead of buying a car adaptor.
- The max power you can draw from a USB port is 2.5W (500 mA at 5V)
- Q: What is the parallel use of the power cable
- Do not know what you want to ask? What about your situation? Normal or pregnant? Normal this radiation does not affect what, if it is pregnant, this is far away from the best. Pregnancy is most needed to stay away from the microwave!
- Q: Hello, I am looking to purchase a single power connector for 5 hard drives. I have a modular 1200W power supply, and all i can find on website is these single power connecters that do not even look like they will connect to my power supply. My computer came with power connectors for 4 hard drives in single cables. I do not want to waste another Power supply slot for just 1 more hard drive. Can anybody tell me how to search for this? Thank you.
- exactly what PSU do you have? I am sure if it's a nice modular PSU you can always contact the manufacturer and order some extra modular cables that fit the drive type you are looking for (just make sure the cables you do have will fit into those sockets - they should). I am surprised a 1.2KW PSU didn't come with connectors for 12 hard drives or more. the reason why there's only 4 on one is because that's all the power that channel can handle. you shouldn't overload it. calculate the load for one channel (V*A=W) using hard drive or device power specs, and IF you think there's enough extra power for one more, then stick a splitter on a connector if one is available. it's best to leave some extra Amperage headroom. if you don't want to go through the load calculations, or can't, then just use another cable. but don't simply use a splitter because it's available. you will have to look at PSU rails specs to see what each rail can handle for those modular connectors. try simply looking at the 12V and 5V alone or just the 12V.
- Q: I have a simple 400watt amp going to a single 10inch kicker sub, nothing crazy. I need to know what gauge of power cable would be safe. An 8 gauge for example...
- Voltage isn't your significant enemy while coping with electrical energy. that is present day or amps that are the foremost venture. you could think of of it like a water hose, the V is the value of the water, the A is the quantity. Take Ohm's regulation as an occasion. Say we've an amp that's producing 1000W With a 230V capability gadget we've 4.3A, with a 14V capability gadget we've 71A. that's a good number of amperage. vehicle capability cables have a thick jacket to keep away from shorts, shorts are undesirable. in case you had a great cable going from one end of your vehicle to the different, and not employing a fuse. (lot's of people do not fuse properly) If that cable is presented in touch with the metallic of the motor vehicle it is going to short and that entire cable is going to get crimson warm and burn your vehicle to the floor.
- Q: I have Windows Vista on my Asus W2P laptop and I have had this weird problem for a while - every time I plug the power cable in when the computer is actually on, Media Centre automatically starts. It's not really an issue, except that it's a bit annoying and weird!! Has anyone else had/heard of an issue lke this?
- Use windows defender hit softwares tab and remove windows media center from startup programs list
- Q: Do all power supplies 450 watt(or above)have the 12v 4 pin?
- Almost all current motherboards power their CPU with a 12 volt CPU power cable. There are two kinds: the 4 pin 12V cable and the 8 pin 12V cable. The 4 pin cable is often called a P4 cable (although it's a very bad name) and the 8 pin cable is called an EPS12V cable. The P4 cable is the most common. You should find it on 90% of power supplies you buy on the market, regardless of how many watts they have. Some power supplies have both the 4pin and 8 pin cables for redundancy. ~~~ All modern power supplies nowadays have 4 pin CPU power cables. They come as a standard. The 24 pin ATX power supply is also quite common, it's kind of hard to get one that's 20 pin nowadays.
