- Q: I have to take a reeeaally long plane flight soon, but my iPod battery goes way to quickly to last that long. Is there any sort of charger I can buy to charge it in flight?
- any ipod charger would work you can pick up one of OKorder for next to nothing. just make sure it has a cord to plug it in to the ipod otherwise you have to use the ipod usb.
- Q: Going on vaction at the end of the month and I need something to charge my ipod with. I would like it to be an outlet charger so I can charge it in the hotel. Anything good out there? I would like to avoid a car charger, thanks. Oh and my ipod is an 80gig video. Thank you!!!
- Go to like circuit city or apple store etc to get a apple wall charger. It will connect your usb to the charger (which is attached on the wall) and then to the ipod.
- Q: does the razr v3 charger work for the lg shine?
- no, I just updated from one lg to another and I still can't use the same charger. They are different for every phone
- Q: Can I charge 2200 mAh batteries using a charger rated for 800 mAh batteries.Conversely, can I charge 800mAh batteries using a 2200 mAh charger?Thanks
- There is not a simple answer to your question. It really depends on the charger design and the type of battery. I am assuming you are actually talking about cells. Although we all call cells batteries, a battery actually consists of two or more cells connected together in series to produce a higher voltage. Generally speaking however you can do either (especially with modern day chargers). If you use a lower capacity charger to charge a higher capacity battery, it will simply take longer time to fully charge the battery. If you use a higher capacity charger to charge a lower capacity battery, the circuitry inside the charger should limit the output current to a safe level. A higher capacity charger will not be able to charge a lower capacity battery any quicker however. If a battery has more charge current applied than it is designed for, it will overheat, damaging the battery, and possibly explode! That isn't an exaggeration, I have seen it happen a few times and in fact I've done it myself while playing around. I at least kept a safe distance away, unlike a co-worker who nearly lost a thumb about 25 years ago. The above is just for informational purposes only, based on my knowledge and experience of 35 years working in the electronics industry, and not to be considered as anything other than general guidelines. To give any more specific help, I would need to have a bit more information. You are welcome to blast me an e-mail with more information and I will do my best to be of assistance. Hope this helped a bit. Good Luck!
- Q: I am trying to find out if my laptop charger for my Gateway laptop is broken. The battery has not been charging and losing power. For it to charge, I have to unplug the charger and plug it back in. It usually charges for 1 - 2 percent. If I were to use an HP charger with similar voltage input/output, would it work?
- Actually, the chance of that is not too low. Many people do not know this, but some chargers for HP, Gateway, Acer, etc are actually compatible with each other. If you can tell me more information, then I might be able to tell you if you can use that HP charger: 1. Does the charger tip fit perfectly into the laptop? (if it does not, then don't bother trying anymore) 2. What's the voltage/amp on the charger and on your laptop? 3. The model number of your Gateway Laptop, and the part number or model number the charger is originally designed for. Good luck.
- Q: I have a samsung charger for my cell phone. It suddenly stopped working yesterday. When I plug it in it doesn't charge my phone at all. If I hold it in really tight it chargers, but it stops as soon as I put it down. And also if I hold the cord a certain way it charges, but if it moves at all it will stop.I have no idea whats wrong with it. I tried several different outlets and it still doesn't work. And its not my phone because I was able to charge it at my friends house with no problems.Does anybody know what is wrong with the charger, or any way to fix it??
- The cable on your charger is broken. You will need to get a new one. The cable is probably broken right near the connector, so unless you can find a replacement connector, which is unlikely, you will need a new charger. If you can hook your phone up to your computer with a USB cable, you should be able to use a charger that charges USB devices.
- Q: I wonder do they make a solar powered trickle charger?
- yes they do. just dont buy a cheap one.
- Q: How long will it take for a MacBook charger to charge a lifeless MacBook pro? I have just attached it! Didn't switch on straight away! Thanks!!!
- It will take a little while longer as the MacBook charger is 65 watts I think, and the Macbook Pro charger is 85 watts. Its okay to use the Macbook charger on a Macbook pro as a temporary basis, but you need to fully charge the Macbook Pros battery first (until the magsafe connector light goes from Red to Green), and then use it. If using the macbook pro with the macbook charger plugged in, you might notice the battery draining, due to the fact that the macbook pro uses more power than the regular macbook charger can provide. Hope this helps!
- Q: Doesn anybody know where you can buy a charger for the LG VX5200 besides OKorder? Links would be helpful thank you :)
- if you know the brand name of your phone you can look on the carrier website look under accocries and buy one off of the website.
- Q: i have a Toro Cordless Trimmer. The Battery is a 12v7.2 AH. the charger that was included (12vDC9.5W)has been spliced and does not illuminate the red light, on the weed wacker, when plugged in. I am wondering if i could use a different charger (12VDC500mA)? What should i do? I respliced the original charger and it still does not work.
- I would check your manual or find one online, and find the part # for the charger and see how much it would cost from the manufacturer or their parts distributor. Watt Amp * Volt, To convert mA to Amp you divide by 1000. So The orignal charger has a charge rate of 9.5/12.8 AMPs Your different charger has a charge rate of .5 AMPs In theory it would work fine, just charge 38% slower. However I always say better safe than sorry, and would just order the right charger. Because I don't if the charger has auto-stop, if it trickle charges, if it peak-charges, etc There are other variables, but in theory the charger you have would work. Just account for the extra charging time, due to the lower amp output.
