- Q: I have a Toshiba Portege from 2008 and my charger is absolutely dead and I would like to have a charger so I can use my computer and I have access to a Toshiba Mini Notebook charger.would that work for my computer??? I would try it by myself but I am not in possession of the Mini Notebook charger so I was just wondering if anyone knew so as to save me the trip. Thanks :)
- NO!!!!!!! Don't risk it unless you're sure. Even if the plug goes in, the power wattage may be different. If it's wrong, it may fry your motherboard and just like that, your laptop is dead.
- Q: Everyone is telling me dodge is not reliable because of transmission issues even car dealers, but ive been really wanting this charger should i go for it?
- dont know about reliability but think the Challenger is a much cooler look
- Q: I have a lenovo 3000 n200, and my charger is not working properly i have to wiggle and jiggle it for it to chip in and sometimes it takes a while. I went to my campus computer store to purchase a universal charger and they said they didnt have any to fit?,i thought that all universal charger could fit? and which one would be the right fit?
- different brands of laptop all use a different socket to plug the charger into, the chargers themselves are universal but they need to come with a selection of plugs that can be plugged onto it to plug into the laptop
- Q: Hi, when I plug the charger into the laptop it doesn't always say it's plugged in and I have to move it around to get it to say it's plugged in and charging. But when it is plugged in it does charge and when I take it out the battery will be charged normally. Is it a faulty battery, charger or the jack where the charger goes.
- Try remove both the battery and charger from your laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the laptop. 1. Ensure that the power cord and/or AC adapter are plugged into the computer and the connection is solid and secured. 2. Verify that the power cord is plugged into AC adapter completely. 3. Make sure your laptop power jack and charger plug tip are not loose fitting. Fixing and soldering the power jack might requires some professional skills. 4. Attempt to use a different electrical outlet. 5. Test out with a different laptop. Always, the LED light of charger needs to be constantly on. If not, replace the defective charger. Since battery/ AC adapter has its own lifespan and does not last forever, you can consider getting a charger under lifetime warranty from store like Topmic Good luck!
- Q: I have a dell studio 1555 the charger is breaking and ive done all sorts of repair work, i found my old dell and it came with an 150WATT charger (Latitude D420) and the charger with the 1555 is a 90watt. i was wondering would i be able to use the 150WATT charger? I didn't want to use it just in case. Thanks in advance.
- No the fittings are different.
- Q: Are most cell phone chargers interchangeable or must a new one be purchased with every upgraded phone??
- Most are different unless its the same brand of phone.
- Q: I have Dell Inspiron 1420. When i plug it in it reads plugged in, not charging. I read somewhere it is because the charger overheats or something. Is this the reason? Also my warranty is over but can i still get a new charger?
- no, you cant get a new charger if the warranty is over well for free anyways you can always buy a new one lol sorry man. i had the same problem
- Q: I plugged in my charger. And I put it into my cell phone. But its not charging! Its put in right and everything. Help?
- Check the pins on your charger port. If they are pushed in or damaged at all, you will need to replace your phone. If they are corroded (they will be slightly green and algae-ish looking) take an old toothbrush and a little rubbing alcohol, scrub them and then use compressed air to clean our the excess alcohol. If that doesn't do it, you have a bad charger or phone. Try plugging your charger into another outlet.
- Q: How do i tell what charger to get for an airsoft gun?
- Lucky you got a airsoft gun :(
