Q: A few weeks ago my laptop charger stopped working. I took it to the software store, they determind the charger was bad (by using that electric voltage tester). So I bought another one and the laptop charged fine. Then last night I noticed the battery was low and I went to plug in the new charger and got nothing.Now it won't charge again. The battery has been replaced recently as wellCould my laptop be doing something to ruin the chargers? Any ideas?: My laptop done the same I bought and expensive one and it worked and still is from currys pc world

Q: How important is it to use the right ampere-hour charger for the ampere-hour of the battery?What is the min. and max ampere-hour charger you would use for a 600 ampere-hour battery and a 840 ampere-hour battery?: Well you will need a 10 Amp or 14 Amp charger for your two batteries. I would make sure the transformer in the charger can handle at least 20 Amps and then it will never fail. Well maybe if the battery is almost flat. The higher the current that you need to charge the battery the higher the rated current of your transformer. If you draw more Amps than the transformer is rated for it will overhead and the transformer will fail. I make sure that there is always plenty extra power available and then it lasts for years.

Q: I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and I've had it for almost a year. A week ago I was using it and I realized the part of the part of the metal part of the charger that goes inside of the laptop was really hot. There were even some black scorch marks on the metal. I ordered a new charger, hoping it was just a problem with the charger, but the new charger heats up too. The computer is still charging, but the part that goes into the laptop gets hot fast. The computer still works fine (I can't use it because the battery is dead) but I'm scared to charge it because it heats up so much. I'm pretty sure it's something wrong with the computer since both chargers are heating up. What is wrong with it and how can i fix it??: Do you still have the battery installed in the notebook? If so, it is possible that the faulty battery is causing the problem. Take the battery out and just run it direct off the charger, and you will probably find that the charger plug and charger itself will run cooler.

Q: how much are they usually when you buy them in verizon stores?specifically, i lost the charger to my LG eNV and i need to get a new one, so im just wondering how much it would be to buy the seperate charger.even an educated guess would be fine :]: Any kind of charger will run you about $30 whether it's a car charger or one for your home. Hope this helps!
