Q:I just got him 3 days ago. I feed him at 7am and then take him out for 15-20 minutes to potty, at 10am i leave to work and leave a little bit of food and water. I work from 10am-6pm (2-3 days a week), and i can't come by at lunch. My neighbor has agreed to check up on him, but not i'm not sure if at 12 or 1. He's already peed and pooped all over the living room and i know that's normal for a puppy because they can't hold it too long.Around 6:30-7pm i feed him again and then take him outside for another 15-20 minutes. I noticed that he doesn't like to be on the sidewalk and is usually messing around where ever there is grass. My question is when i'm home, How many times should i take my puppy out when i'm home? Is there a general rule? Is 15-20 minutes enough for the puppy? I don't have a backyard, it only a small area for him to walk on concrete but the front has a small grass area.Thanks.
well, puppies can hold their wastes 1 hour per month of age. seeing as your puppy is...well, about 2 months old, he can hold it only for 2 hours it is physically impossible for him to go any longer. and when you take him outside, walk in a circle or pace and praise him when he goes. if he does not go after 10 minutes, take him out 20 minutes later and continue to walk in circle or pace up and down until he goes...treats help with the praise part but im sure you already knew that...:) good luck im going to get a puppy so ill be on the same boat as you....
Q:i shop at lilian vernon and fingerhut....but are there any other catalogs that offer that type of stuff for your home, car and garden?
Lakeside Collection has a nice variety and low, low prices on home and garden , gadgets and other stuff. I always enjoy looking through this catalog, although I don't always buy. Ginny's is mostly home and garden and has an easy-to-get choose and charge plan. Seventh Avenue is affiliated with Ginny's and has similar items. Collections Etc. has a lot of fun, seasonal items, most things are less than $20. There are tons more catalogs available but these are some of the ones that I enjoy. Google 'catalogs' for lots more choices.
Q:So i decided I do not have enough presents for my girlfriend and searching I found homemade succulent gardens. I think they would be perfect.. I'm not very into gardening so I have no idea where to begin to buy this stuff. Could I even buy the supplies before christmas now? What stores could I buy these at?
If you have Lowe's near you they usually have a good selection. Other nurseries should carry them as well. Home Depot garden has them but, I find Lowe's selection better.
Q:seeing how you cant buy ammonia nitrate (triple 13 or triple 8 )whats next best thing for over all fertilizer for home garden
I saw Amonnium Nitrate at the store the other day. And it is NOT triple 13 or triple 8. Its more like 36-0-0 I use 20-20-20, triple 20. Its available in many sizes. I get 20lb bags. (Is it quad 20 then?) Lots of choices out there for good fertilizers. Sounds like you need a trip to a landscape supply store and a chat with a knowledgable sales person. If you want some info on organic fertilizers try reading some of the Peaceful Valley Farm Supply site. Lots of info.
Q:I have found lots or wholesalers, or retailers claiming to be wholesalers, who will do dropshipping. I am looking to open an actual physical store but I don't know where to find good wholesalers or distributors. I live in Alberta Canada. Does anybody know how I can find wholesalers of quality products that will deliver in bulk? To get products in the US would probably cost too much in shipping which would eat up any profits.
What specific type of items are you looking to sell. Home Garden makes me think of paints, wallpaper etc. Many manufactures don't often sell direct you buy through a vendor. Usually they price according to quantity of items like masking tape for example, a case will be less then if you intermixed numerous sizes. I don't know if 5 Star or Pecoa deliver to Canada, those are 2 co's we dealt with. Some items can have a big mark up while others are marginal, having a good POS set up for pricing, inventory can show you the cost when scanning can even block an item from being discounted if its a marginal mark up.
Q:I have a relatively small garden and I would like to take take care of the pests using an organic treatment. Any suggestions for DIY remedies, or commercial products?
www.okorder /.. There seems to be a lot of different ones. This is just one of the first ones that came up.
Q:I was thinking about these: mulberry, apple, peach, cherry, or plum.Any suggestions? Also be specific don't just say apple please say what type.Thank you in advance :D
Your question leaves a lot to be desired. Your choice of trees will depend upon why you want to grow a tree in your garden. I'm looking at doing the same thing, but my reasons will dictate what type of tree. I'm looking for something that will provide shade, grow at a medium pace, and not establish too many roots, especially roots that will grow close to the surface of the soil. I want to continue to grow vegetables, but I have limited space, with paved walkways, so I want to make sure the roots don't up heave the walkway. Fruit trees would be nice, but they can be messy with the leaf drop, etc. I don't want a tree that grows into a large tree, but one that primarily provides shade (since I live in SC). I'm trying to provide some shade to my vegetables, because the heat is sometimes too much for my plants. I've decided to go with a crepe myrtle, because it will provide color, and isn't too difficult to maintain. I would suggest you further evaluate your sistuation before deciding what type of tree is best for you. good luck
Q:Making fertilizer using home ingredients for a school project
you can make a home fertilizer by a compost.
Q:Hi, wondering how I would go about making a living by gardening, selling seasonal fruits and veggies, selling herbs and sprouts, canned goods like sauerkraut and pickles, possibly mead and wine, eggs, and eventually things like homemade candles and soaps. Is it possible to make a living off of this? What skills would I need to learn (besides the most obvious of gardening, cooking, and creating the products)THANKS!!Also- I am single, and live very modestly. don't have extra things such as a TV, lots of clothing, never go to restaurants, etc.
the difficulty with spiders is they lay eggs in a sac and die off each and every fall, a minimum of in factors the place you get a frost-freeze cycle. you may desire to aim daddy longlegs spiders, or some stink bugs. you may additionally try thoroughly changing the soil of your indoor backyard with clean, sterilized potting soil, and rinsing the roots of your plant life off until now repotting. yet another determination is a non-insecticidal therapy I even have discovered effectual for many varieties of comfortable bodied bugs on my orchids. safer Insecticidal cleansing soap works nicely, as does Murphy's Oil cleansing soap. SIS is interior the backyard branch, whilst MOS is with relatives cleansing components. you may additionally verify a wellness food save, or a rustic feed mill. they could produce different innovations. you may additionally talk on your county extension agent. They artwork with farmers and gardeners to help them discover the suited suggestions. Sheesh, had I familiar somebody needed them, I'dve shipped you many quarts of the ladybugs we had swarming everywhere in the homestead windows and doorframes. yet another reliable source is organic and organic Gardening magazine and the great books revealed via Rodale homestead.
Q:I would like some recipes to use as a pesticide in my vegetable garden that can be made from household ingredients. I used to have some but I lost them. Please help if you can I would appreciate any suggestions :)
a few drops of liquid dish detergent mixed with water in a spray bottle will do it. the bugs eat the saop and die. spray under the leaves also.
