- Q: Miami Gardens sounds like a tranquil tropical paradise, why was Trayvon up at Sanford instead of his actual place of residence?
- His father lives in the apartment complex. Because he lived with his father at the time of his killing, he was at his legal place of residence.
- Q: Does anyone know of a good place to sell home decorations through? I was hoping to find a company that I can sell from cateloges or magazines.
- hard situation. research into google and yahoo. just that can assist!
- Q: WHat are your plans for the spring, Vacation, Gardening, buying a new home? Whats your agenda?
- I have a new home, but it needs Gardens and Flowers and Fountains, and Trees and a Pond and a Patio and Planters and..............(anyone here do landscape design??) :) my poor husband.......
- Q: I have a small home garden my backyard about 20' by 4'. I have the standard home garden vegetables planted, tomatoes, peppers, basil, celery, etc. I was thinking about planting some red clover in between all the plants to create a nice bed that will choke out weeds so I don't have to weed all the time, put some nitrogen back in soil, and hold in moisture during those long hot dry spells here in New Jersey. The plants are all at least a foot tall now. Would you recommend this? Or would the clover and the vegetables start competing and therefor take away from my harvest? I figured they are all big enough now that the clover will stay well below them. But I don't know if underground there will be a battle going on with the root systems. I already plan on planting the clover in the fall when everything is done growing and then till it in in the spring. Thanks!
- Try buckwheat as an alternate crop. it doesn't fix nitrogen, but it doesn't get invasive. Crimson clover is a non invasive annual legume too.
- Q: There is an ad in an older Better Homes and Garden and the other magazine that has a cake on the cover every month (I am drawing a blank on the name). The add has a womens ring on a cherry or a little red fruit and the mens rings on a walnut. If someone could tell me the designer of those rings or even if the ad states what style rings they are that would be great! It is driving me crazy, I saw it once and fell in love with the rings! The cake magazine that for sure has the ad inside has on the cover is a mint tart style dessert. Thank you so much!
- My advice for you would be to go on their website and contact the magazine (Better Homes and Gardens). Ask about past issues of the magazine and see if the sales/customer service rep on the phone can help you figure out which issue it is. They'll have all the copyright information for photographs of products featured in the magazine and once you pinpoint which issue the ad is featured in, they'll be able to give you the product name. You might be amazed how willing they are to help you find the info you're looking for. I've had to do this with other various information I was looking for in the past. Your best bet would be to go right to the source.
- Q: ...you know...to EAT? What else would I be talking about? *SHEESH* =)~suggested category...Home Garden gt; Decorating Remodeling LOL ;)
- Infront of the computer
- Q: Please help me! I thought about using chicken wire, but it's expensive, hard, and all around kind of ugly. I have squirrel problems, too. but I would really appreciate ideas on this! Thankyou!
- I have protected young garden plants with deer netting. Usually I cover a row about 3.5 foot wide at a height of about 15 inches. I remove the netting when the plants get too tall, but usually I have had most problems with deer or rabbits when plants are very small. Deer Netting is a 3/4 inch mesh, black plastic netting that comes in 7 ft wide by 100 ft long rolls and is reasonably priced. I build a simple wood structure of 1'' by 2'' lumber to hold it up and fasten it to the ground with garden or landscape fabric staples. This is described in more detail in the article link below. On taller things like a fencing I have cucumbers climb on, I have hung chunks of smelly soap, strips of dryer fabrics sheets, and sprayed with various homemade repellent sprays (recipes found on line, see second link below for examples). Sometimes I also lean additional sections of fencing against the first one until the cucumbers are well established. I have also made small tents of window screening for widely spaced individual plants. Good luck!
- Q: I want to get my mom an indoor herb garden for Christmas...which would be the best one to get through the winter? Thanks! :)
- Get one with the bigggest pots you can find. Those tiny pots are cute but herbs will quickly outgrow them. The type where the container makes a greenhouse are nice.
- Q: umm i know that theres these magzine that u can buy furniture from and pay monthly for the things u buy, wats the websites name? and name of the magazine??
- Home and garden Pottery Barn ummmm there are so many!
- Q: I want my rabbit to have enough room to grow in as well as have a good enough area to play with her toys.Shes a dutch rabbit and Right now shes lives in a doggie kennel like the one below.
- You're okorder /... But even then it's a bit small, a rabbit should be able to do three full hops minimum in at least one direction - for a rabbit as athletic as a Dutch, that's something at least 6-7 feet long!
