Q:We have a Dyson that doesn't have a bag but 3 filters and we are starting to get many carpet beetles. We already had catiplillers and silversharks but these carpet beetle larva come in numbers! If I vacuum the rooms will I just be housing these bugs inside the vacuum and spreading them more to the other rooms?: Dyson vacuum cleaners need to be emptied every time you use them to maintain their function performance. Q:I am looking to spend up to $400 on a new vacuum as my wife has some pretty nasty allergies to dust mites and molds. Any suggestions as to make/models or even just types of vacuums (bagless/bag) that I should consider. Thanks!: Look into vacuums such as a rainbow which keeps the dust in water in the vacuum rather then spit into the air OR get a vacuum that have Hepa filters on it. These type with the Hepa filters trap the dust from escaping into the air. I suggest you call a used vacuum dealer and gets some ideas of what they have. Good luck!

Q:Honest, Himself just purchased a new vacuum we are told one of the attachments was used in the 1940s for nit picking.Have you ever heard of a nit picking attachment being put on vacuum cleaners in the past? If you were to gain some nits would you be inclined to use a vacuum to remove them? Why or why not.Oh in case you were wondering I don't catch nits. I know this because back in the day I had work that involved louse removal from humans I never, ever caught any. Apparently I am immune.: I never heard of such a vacuum, but I sure as heck wouldn't use it for for that purpose. Nits are literally glued onto the hair shaft with a substance chemically close to the composition of hair, so it would impossible for the vacuum attachment to actually work unless it pulls the entire hair strand out of your head (ouch!). Lice crawl; they don't jump or fly. Lice are spread by having had direct head to head contact (ie hugging with hair touching, sharing hats, etc) to get any number of lice to set up shop on another person's head. You were never infested because there was no direct contact to make it possible.

Q:Which is better: bagged or bagless VACUUM cleaners?: I much prefer bagless, although it holds much less. So easy to clean out though.

Q:I know there is the Bissell Flip it, Dirt Devil Vac n Mop and Hoover Floor Mate, but is there a site where I can compare all 3 and see which one is the best?: I have the Hoover Floor Mate. DO NOT buy this! All it does is pee the water out, and smear the dirt around. Personally I am a fan of hands and knees with a mixture of light dawn dish soap and warm water. I don't think, if your floor is wood it is wise to actually get it wet. Regular hardwood floor cleaner I suppose would be the best.

Bissell = Seems to be the cheapest and offers more features for it's price but looks kind of flimsy. Is this a good brand. Offers 1 yr warranty.2. Dirt devel = Cost a little more and looks better. Offers 2 yr warranty?3. Hoover = I know this is a well known brand but all I was able to see was the steamvacs. My mom had one and it's about 4 yrs old. Its very good still cleans up.Also I noticed Canaster Vacuum cleaners. What are the advantages of these? What is the purpose of having a canaster? I just don't want to get a habbit of purchasing a vacuum every 1 year because it breaks....: About canister vacs: Canisters are great at cleaning hardwood floors, drapes and hard to reach spots. Most canisters also come with an assortment of tools and attachments for special cleaning jobs. Some may find it awkward because you pull the vacuum from behind. If you don't want to replace your vacuum every year, go with a Dyson. It is the best purchase you will ever make. I spent hours looking in stores for the perfect vacuum and ended up finding just what I needed, the dyson dc15 animal, online (MUCH lower prices and better info) The suction never wears out, so you won't need to replace it. It is great at getting up hair and for people with allergies.

Q:this house s covered in dirt. im 20 with a 2yr old daughter and almost 16 weks preg with our 2nd. my husband is 22, we live with his dad and sister because mu husbands job keeps cutting hours and hes not making enough to get our own place, and i know some people will be like well if you dont have money to get your own place why have another kid...well i was on birth control both times ok!!! and i dont do abortion, and if i have a child i am going to keep it and take responsiblity and not jut give it away ok!...anyway back to the question...so i want to clean this house, it makes me so mad with how gross it is...everything gets dusty super fast and the carpets always have dirt in them.
