Q: anyone own a kenmore progressive vacuum cleaner!? I am in the market for a really great vacuum, at a resonable price, (unlike dyson's)! i have read good and bad reviews on the progressive! THANK YOU!: I wouldn't recommend most of today's commercial brand of vacuum cleaners as they're all mostly junk made in Mexico, China, etc. I would recommend a Sebo cleaner- I got one after my Hoover died on my after only 1 year of ownership. I have a Labrador too, along with two kitties and need a dependable vacuum. I bought my Hoover for almost $200 and the Sebo's go for $250-300, not a lot more but they work so much better and have a lifetime warranty and a 30 year on the belt alone! They are German engineered and built.

Q: Hi. I can't find the papers on my bagless vacuum cleaner and was wondering if it is okay to spray the carpet cleaner on and then vacuum with a quot;baglessvacuum cleaner. I can't really imagine what it would hurt since the only real difference I can see is that all of the dirt is going to a container instead of a bag. Thanks everyone...I haven't had this all that long and didn't want to do something that would damage my vacuum, so if you have a bagless vacuum and have done this or if you know something about them....please respond. I really appreciate it.: I've done the same thing and also own a bagless vacuum without having any problems. I let it sit on the carpet for a short time before running it, but so far no issues! :)

Q: Can anyone please help me! I am soooo serious here...I have purchased two vacuum cleaners and they both SUCK. Bissel allergy one with the canister that you empty...It does not vacuum well at all, I can pick up stuff off the carpets better that the that. And then I bought a eureka vacuum from costco, not only is it hard to push, 4 months the screw came off the handle and is in the vaccum itself.....It is supposed to be industrial, and it is with a bag....and NEVER ever have I seen such scrap....I have new carpets so that is not the problem here...I also have pets....I do not want a tyson 3000 or whatever they are called...although they say they are good, and after what I have spent in these 2 vacuums I should have bought the tyson...So any suggestions or what you like would be appreciated...I am just fed up with picking up JUNK :PThanks you all..: i bought a new vacuum when i had new carpets put in my house right after we bought it. with a 4 year old and a 1 year old and 2 indoor cats we needed something good with good filters. we bought a eureka boss smart vac. it was $130.00 and we bought a 2 year extended warranty. i have had it now for almost 2 years. it is a great vacuum. it is dark red. it uses bags, i get the filter bags. they cost more but they extend the life of the hepa filter. for hepa filter replacements i get the arm and harmer eureka filters. it really helps with odors. it works great on our light tan carpet, kitchen tile floors and bathroom tile. i even use the hose to clean my ceiling fans. any way here is the model #4870 type GZ.

Q: i need it for picking up guinea pig droppings. i've built an indoor pen, with safe soil and grass i grew for them to run around in, just because theres dangerous things outside, plus if given the chance they would run away haha... thats how it is ( No matter how much you love them gt;lt;) but im worried, that all the handheld vacuum cleaners i can find claim to be strong, and able to pick up deep.. yaddayadda.. i need something pretty weak, because i dont want to uproot the grass/seeds. any advice?: Whatever you buy, DON'T buy a dry dirt cordless dust buster - if you can, seek out a Wet and Dry model and the cheapest ones with 6V batteries or less will give you a weak suction. Not a lot of hand held cordless dust busters are really that strong - even Dyson ones run out of power after 5 mins! However, You may find that it won't even pick up - a slight downside. Dry dust hand helds are only for dry dust - the wet and dry option has a harder filter that can be used for picking up droppings, plus it's easier to clean out. ALSO, big tip from me - if you are worried about it picking up the grass/seeds, just cut up a pair of old tights and line the mouth of the dust buster into one of the open toe sections - the Lycra allows you to suck up what you want but you'll have to manually remove the droppings : (. It's a trick I learnt when watching a program about the Queen in London! Handy for earrings etc too!

Q: What are everybody's opinions on the Kirby G3/G4/G5/G6/UG/DE/SE/SE II vacuum cleaners/carpet shampooers?: As a vacuum, they are excellent. As shampooer, they leave a lot to be desired.
