Q: i hardly find a replacement for my electrolux vacuum cleaner filter bag... where do You think i can buy that in manila or batangas area here in the philippines: Alternatively, buy one of those more environmentally-friendly bag-less vacuum cleaners so you don't have to worry about the bag every time.

Q: I'm looking for a small vacuum cleaner but I don't know where to start. what are the best brands?: About a year ago I bought a bagless Bissell at Wal-Mart for $42.00 and I just love it. It's small, light weight, has attachments on board and I don't have to buy bags for it. The canister and filter are easy to clean too. I was surprised I liked it so well because the one I had for 11 years without a problem was a Simplicity and I really liked it. The Bissell I bought is smaller, lighter and now that I've used it for about a year, I think I like it better than my old one that cost me over $200 because its easier on my back.

Q: Which Vacuum is better...bagless or canister. And I mean cleaning wise. And with Canister, do you have to buy bags? Or with either, do you need to buy anything other than the vacuum EVER?: I had both, my vacuum with bags would always get plugged, and when the bag got full, when I pulled it out I always got a cloud of dust as I pulled the bag off. I like my bag-less, because when full, pull out the canister with on button, then another button at the bottom of canister to release the dust door right into the trash, very covenant. Bags I was aways buying them, if that store does not have them I always had to find a store that did carry my type bags. Some canister vacuums have filters that have to be replaced. Mine has a filter that all I have to do is clean once a month let it dry and put it back in.

Q: I don't misuse them. I simply turn them on, vacuum the carpeted floors in my apartment, and promptly turn it off and store it in the laundry room. I have now had to purchase 3 vacuum cleaners in a year because they all have the same problem. They just stop picking things up whatsoever; however if you use the attached hose it sucks everything up. There are no clogs and nothing is wrong on the bottom in appearance. Help!: First time it happens again, don't buy a new vacuum cleaner right away, but go back to the shop and tell them about the problem. They should try to help you, because it's their product that sucks (no pun intended) and they want happy customers.

Q: Do I need to Vacuum up pet hair, etc before I use one of these Bissell Upright Steam Cleaners. I was going to purchase a new Bagless Bissell Pet Hair removal vacuum and the aile over I saw the Bissell Pro Heat cleaners for like 100 bucks more. Can I just get rid of my vacuum and use this steam cleaner instead or do you still need to vacuum before you clean. Or can I use steam cleaners without the water now and then just like a vacuum?: You have to have both. Steam cleaners aren't designed to be vacuum cleaners. (I haven't heard of a dual purpose one yet.) You need a vacuum cleaner for weekly general cleaning in between steaming and you use the steam cleaner for cleaning every couple months or if have a particularly tough stain in carpet or a large house party to clean up after. Or just buy the vacuum cleaner and rent a steamer when you need it. Or hire Stanley Steamer to steam clean for you. The only people who really need to own a steamer and use it frequently are those with white/light carpets and lots of foot traffic and pets.

Q: when the long hair gets tangled in that spinning thing under tthe vacuum: My hair doesn't shed ^__*

Q: And why is it that once you've run out of bags, you can never find the ones for your vacuum at the store?(Anyone who uses the word suck in their answer will not get 10 points.): if you want a vacuum that lasts a while- go to Sears. the bags are also located in sears for all the different vacuums. hope this helps.

If you don't get over your hatred of vacuum cleaners, you are going to be living in a pig sty. Your Mum is not always going to be there to clean up after you. Q: It is a small gear that goes on the brushroll which the belt attaches to turn the roll. The vacuum is a shark navigator nv22 and have looked on several site but all I come up with is filter parts. Can someone point me in the right direction to were I could by individual parts if there is any: Call a shop that repairs vacuum cleaners and ask.
