- Q: I'm not to fond of loud vacuum cleaners and neither is my cat so I'm looking for a vacuum cleaner that doesn't make to much noise. Anyone know of one?
- This Site Might Help You. RE: Are there any really quiet vacuum cleaners? I'm not to fond of loud vacuum cleaners and neither is my cat so I'm looking for a vacuum cleaner that doesn't make to much noise. Anyone know of one?
- Q: I've tried various vacuums through the years but none seem to do well on the edges of the carpet. Anyone tried a really good one for that?
- We have got to find this out and let the world know, I thought I was the only one that had dirty edges. (Not being a smart @ss)
- Q: I have a memory foam mattress topper that was vacuum packed in its original box, and when I took it out originally, it expanded to many, many times its original vacuum packed size. I live far away and need to ship it to myself now, but now that it's not vacuum packed and shrunk, I can't get it much smaller than the largest of my suitcases. Is there any place that I can go to get it industrially shrink wrapped or vacuum packed (preferably in the DFW area) so that I can get it down to at least a fraction of its original size? The home vacuum sealers won't do the trick; this mattress pad is much too strong and large for what they are intended to do. I've tried and nothing works, I'm thinking only an industrial stength vacuum packer will work.
- You might try calling some cleaners. They vacuum seal wedding dresses for storage (they may ship them out for that). You may be able to find out from them. You may want to also try packing and shipping stores. Good luck ------ I live in Allen (DFW area)
- Q: Alright, we've lived in this apartment for a year and three months, and we're on our third vacuum cleaner. The first two were Eureka's, then we bought a cheap bissel this last time. I had been taking excellent care of my vacuums, right down to washing the dirt cups, filter and cleaning out the carpet brushes with every use. I couldn't figure out why we were going through them like we were, but everyone suggested that cat hair is clogging them and burning them up. The newest started acting up within two uses (and it's not a large apartment, and we have one cat who hardly sheds, and we clean on a regular basis. Anyways, I tore the stupid thing apart to find MOUNDS of cat hair clogged in it. There was at least enough to be the size of a softball in the hose. So, how the heck is this thing clogging so fast, and what can I do to prevent it? I can't be tearing the stupid thing apart after every use, I refuse to shave or get rid of the cat and I can't exactly just stop vacuuming. Help me please!
- I used to have cats (now have dogs!) and my all time favorite vacuums for cats is the Fantom. Has a bin and no bag, you can see what is going in, is easy to clean after each and every use. The first time I used it, It filled up with so much cat hair (keep in mind I HAD a vacuum I had just replaced!) that I emptied it over 10X just vacuuming the dining room, which wasn't THAT big! I was stuptified! Seeing all that cat hair was really an eye opener! So I suggest finding a GOOD vacuum, not a cheapo one, and one that has the container that you can empty (I have seen others says they HATE them cause they are messy to empty, I do mine over the trash can outside into a box I pick up from like Sams Club. I have found stuff I didn't know was in there, jewelry, earrings, money, you name it). With a bag, you toss it, not knowing you threw it out! Plus with the canister, I can what is going in and if anything is going in or not. I know clog has happened, which RARELY happens, since I can see what is going in and how fast, I can adjust my speed or decrease it too! Hope this helps you! Good luck!
- Q: I'm looking for a vacuum that is less than $200, Upright, bagless, HEPA, can clean pet hair, and reliable/durable. If you know any other vaccuum brand that fits into ALL of my requirements above, feel free to tell me. I did some research and narrowed my list down to two. So my questions are:1. Which one should I buy? 2. What are the pros and cons between the two?
- Bissell. We have a Bissell and it works like magic. Eureka vacuum cleaners don't seem to last as long.
- Q: the problem of human and animals living together and the solution
- Vacuum cleaners and lint rollers help with all the shedding.
- Q: They are just sitting around my bedrooms. How do I hide them away?
- In a closet.=)
- Q: What are the best reasonably priced HEPA air filters out there? Is it best to get one that attached to a furnace (but then its only running when the heat or AC is on) or a few smaller ones and move them room to room? Also, I understand that it is imprtant to try and vacuum with a HEPA vacuum. Any advice on something out there that is reasonably priced (and reasonably priced filters). For both, I want to get something that is not too cheap (ie something that actually works) but not top of the line (I am not running a hospital.. just want to increase the quality of the air we breathe at home.
