- Q: When wondering if a guy is strong the other person will always ask how much the guy bench presses. But I can kick the crap out of people in football by popping and tackling them and even won a couple fights against people saying they can bench like a 150 pounds. I know they can do it though but I can only bench press 100 pounds like 2 times but am stronger than people who bench more than me. Does it just mean that I have a weak chest or that bench press means nothing or that I;m weak?
- Bench press doesn't mean as much as people say. People fail to take into account that the body adapts to certain movements, so you can bench a lot if you have really good form and practice. A guy who rarely benches will lift much less but may be in much better shape (which seems like that's your case).

- The sour cream keeps them soft. Enjoy. Sour Cream Spritz 1 cup butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 large egg yolk 1/3 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, sifted 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda Preheat oven to 375 F. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk, sour cream and vanilla. Sift together flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Gradually stir flour mixture into butter mixture. Fill cookie press with dough, then form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Note: Can also be made using a pastry bag using a large pastry tip. Here is another with cream cheese.You can add more sour cream or cream cheese and in place of some of the butter to make them even softer. CREAM CHEESE COOKIE - SPRITZ 1 c. butter 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. sugar 1 egg yolk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. sifted flour Food Coloring, optional Mix all ingredients; cool. Put in your spritz gun and have fun. Bake 8-9 minutes at 350 degrees.

- The pressing thing may be a bit unnecessary - they were for the days of rabbit skin glues and board that might cockle. The proper thing tends to be cast iron affairs and dificult to make up someting unless you pile lots of heavy weights on a stout board. If you use a modern contact-type glue (ie not water based) and roller them down (something like one of those hard seam rollers) onto say MDF as a core you might get away without
