Q:The t-stat comes with EIT module. that wires to the t-stat and the furnace. I'm having trouble with the module to furnace wiring.: from the thermostat you match 1,2,3 wires to the module, from the module to the furnace. - R to R (this is your 24V hot) W to W (furnace 24V input G to G (fan for cooling 24V input) Y to Y (cooling 24V input), there should also be another wire that connects with this that goes to the condensing unit C to C ( Common - must have this connected for IAQ to work) as with the Y, there should be another wire to connect to this that goes to the condensing unit. - maybe W2 to W2 if you have a 2 stage furnace, you'll know if you have a 2 stage furnace because the W2 connection on the furnace will be present. - maybe Y2, if you have 2-stage cooling. if you have a humidifier connect both wires from the humidifier selinoid valve to each of the HUM terminals.

Or is it something special?: Enamel covered usually means magnet wire, the enamel insulation is super thin, all but invisible, this is used for making very tight windings where the packing of the windings produces strong magnetic fields, or strong emf response to changes in magnetic field, and the voltage difference between adjacent windings is low enough to allow this type of wire. There are sources for magnet wire on the internet, and Radio Shack sells Three Packs of 3 commonly used gauges of magnet wire.

Q:Im currently running 8 gauge power wire from my battery to my amp which is a hifonics zxi8408 i have it bridged to 2 channels so its pushing 440 watts x2 to 2 alpine type Rs. The current speaker wire im running is 16 gauge.My question is...since im going to go down to 4 gauge power wire, should I lower the speaker wire and get 12 gauge speaker wire also? What will sound the best?: The okorder and buy some 10 or 8 gauge for the speaker wire and get some 4 gauge wire from them also. The prices are very good. Its really good wire too trust me i have all Knu Konceptz wiring and RCAs in my car with 7k watts. I got about 100ft of the KLMX 0 gauge wire and i'm using the 4 gauge KLMX wire for my speaker wire. You should get some of their 4 gauge it's good stuff with a lot of copper strands... no bullshit...

I have a B-series, I'm looking at a B-series Wiring Harness online an is that what i need? Or is there a separate interior wiring harness i need to make my lights work again? Q:Ceiling fan has Green, Blue, black and white and the ceiling only has a black wire and white wire.: Do what Elaine said above. If there is not a light, don't use the blue wire. If there isn't a green wire or bare wire in your box, attach the fan's green wire to the electrical box itself (if its metal.).

Q:installing ceiling fan, when remove light fixture, it has 4 wires system, wires used: white red and green with one light switch, what is black for, it has a wire nut, but has nothing connect to it: people use a four wire system when they are going to operate one fixture in more than one location or continue power to another fixture or outlet. Red and black are always hot. If the black wire was only wire nutted, then don't use it, just leave the wire nut on it. Sometimes people run a four wire because that is what they had lying around. Also, if you want to run the fan independently from the light, you could use a four wire to run power independently from a switch where one side of the switch runs the fan and the other runs the light.

Q:I have DirectWay and have a wireless router. I recently hardwired my computer in because I kept losing signal. The distance between my computer and the router is about 30 ft. But since I hardwired my computer in, it seems slower than when I ran the wireless adapter, i.e downloading videos and music. I was under the impression that wired was faster. What gives????: wired or wireless, you are capable of downloading way faster than whatever the cap is on your internet service
