Q: What is 3 main mechanism of the tower crane?
A: there are trolleying mechanism/ slewing mechanism/ hoisting mechanism.
Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?
A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.
Q: What is the function of the monitor?
A: Monitor, namely inspection system (like black box), which could store 10000 tower crane operation reports, and it is recommended to be installed in big cranes more than 16t.
- Q:I know how to make cranes and I'm pretty fast at doing so but in pictures I see of crane leis the cranes look like they're folded differently so that they can be stacked on top of each other.. Can anyone teach me how to fold like that so that I can make a paper crane lei?
- But I do different from step 11 on Step 11: Normally they fold along the red line. I dont. On step 10 you see the cross line in the center +. I then fold the right pointy toward the center. Do the same for all. Step 12: I the filp the right top layer to the left, same with the back side. Step 13: fold the bottom point to the top(one layer only) filp to back side, do the same. Step 14: flip right layer to the left again, same with the back side. Step 15: Pull and done.
- Q:i am having trouble finding out 2 points that Stephen Crane makes about courage in this story. can anyone please help me? =(
- Please see the website below for much more information. There are many good notes about the book, The Red Badge of Courage. Chapter 11 Fear of Battle 7: The burst of courage that Henry feels is purely produced by the actions of those around him; he feels compelled to be like the idealized warriors he perceives the men in front of him to be. Yet, his internal doubt of being able to fulfill the social expectations that he feels ultimately holds him back from acting on this burst of courage. Chapter 12 Fear of Battle 8: With Wilson's newfound maturity comes an acceptance of battle, which is neither the quaking fear of the new regiment or the biting sarcasm of the veteran soldiers. This is the first glimpse of the true internal strength that Henry searches for within himself. It is a glimpse of something that does not surface often among the soldiers who have found it, for Henry sees that the veterans often cover up this internal strength with a cocky sarcasm that is both imposing and difficult to see through. Chapter 17 Fear of Battle 9: Fear of battle has perhaps given way to something more subtle; with Henry's acceptance of battlefield reality comes a more pervasive feeling of injustice that Henry felt on the previous day when he felt pushed along by his regiment. This feeling is one of a desperate helplessness, breeding an all-encompassing hatred. This sense of hate, ironically, helps Henry to achieve the storybook ideal of the warrior, and find inner peace.
- Q:I caught this crane fly in my garage but is almost the size of a dragonfly. It has a 3 inch wingspan. I saved it in a jar because I though no one would believe me. so do they really get this big or is this thing a freak?
- the answer is yes.

- Q:how do construction crews put up a crane?
- They assemble it on a concrete foundation using a mobile crane. To grow taller, the top unit of the tower crane has a jacking mechanism that lets it raise itself up and insert another tower section.
- Q:I have got a ton of Mosquito Hawks in my house. Should I just let them be or will the problem get worse? Plus I read they dont bite humans but will the bite rabbits? I have 2 house rabbits that I am concerned about.
- So called mosquito eaters, mosquito hawks, or skeeter eaters. Unlike mosquitoes, crane flies are weak and poor fliers, so they can be caught easily and without much effort. Despite their common names, crane flies do not prey on mosquitoes, nor do they bite humans. Adult crane flies feed on nectar and consume roots such as turf grass as in backyard lawns.(So they won't be preying on your rabbits) Their life cycle is very brief, so you shouldn't have to worry about them multiplying. They are also weak and poor fliers, so they can be caught easily.
- Q:my 7 year old son swears that a crane jumper is a type of animal...any one heard of this??
- I googled crane jumper and came up with nothing. Not to say there isn't such a creature, that could be a regional name for it, it might be called something else.
- Q:In the Legend of Sleepy Hollow Ichabod Crane has come from?
- New York
- Q:I was wondering if this is possible. The wall we have designed is very close to an existing retaining wall. In order to properly form and waterproof the wall we would have to demo that existing retaining wall. My idea was to build it off site, waterproof it, and then crane it into its location. Is this possible? any similar methods? thanks
- If you use precast concrete sections it can be done. You can even have a decorative side if that is required. You might need to have some form of interlocking connections to tie the whole thing together. Depending on its height there might also be a need for anchors to keep it from trying to tip. Without more very detailed information it is difficult to really answer this question. As an example: depending on the type of soil and the height of the wall it is possible to remove the existing wall and install a new one in a day if you use something like a keystone system.
- Q:Secured to a concrete floor with 12 30mm bolts
- That can only be answered by analizing it. A crane as you are supposed to know has different loads and directions of impact due to the moving bridge, the trolley, and break loads. So what it can lift depend on the whole structure. Besides depends as much on the type of crane
