Where I live a mobile crane operator or tower crane operator must be certified at a minimum every 3 years. The correct answer is to contact the agency which licenses crane operators in your jurisdiction. They should have a copy of your certification.

- To get it spot on as you say, it would be best to get it from your instructor. Videos are sometimes good and sometimes bad. In any case they are a bad way to learn something. They simply can't correct things. And that is assuming that the video shows them correctly in the first place. Learn from a competent instructor.

- I believe it is pretty difficult to tell and searching the schematics of the crane stock will be as well. Best way is to check out your local gun range and the folks there that shoot guns with crane stocks installed. Also, though I am not too sure about this one, check if the crane stock is compatible for mil-spec buffer tubes and commercial spec buffer tubes. Otherwise, I am very much inaccurate in any of this response.

Yes you can be convicted of criminal trespassing but you can also be convicted of breaking and entering, and get the prize of spending the rest of your teenage years in a juvenile detention center. You can then be sued by the owner of the crane too, in civil court who will go after your parents money and yours. Then every time you apply for a job you will have to tell your prospective employer about the time you thought it was a good idea to break the law. Do you want to guess how eager they will be to hire you?

The dynamic load will be the mass of the payload times the peak deceleration rate. In a strength calculation, do not forget to include the static weight component of the load. The deceleration depends on the elasticity of the cables supporting the load. If the crane has a flexible supporting structure, then that could also affect the result. (You didn't say whether the crane is the traveling overhead hoist type usually seen in a factory - which typically has a stiff support - or the cantilevered truss type seen on construction sites - where the support might have a little flexibility.)
