1. Product Description

Steel cord is the fine steel wire strand or rope for special purposes, which are made of superior high-carbon steel and whose surface is plated with brass. It is mainly applied in car tyres, light truck tyres, cargo truck tyres, heavy equipment tyres and plane tyres and other rubber reinforcing materials. The radial tyre that uses steel cords as the reinforcing material demonstrates the merits of long service life, fast driving speed, puncture-resistant, high flexibility, being safe and comfortable and fuel-saving, etc.

Q: I wired up my brothers stereo in his 1994 volvo 850. At the time, I knew nothing about wiring harnesses so I did everything one wire at a time. I got it working but the stereo can still run with the car off. If you turn the radio off, a small led stays lit on the front. My brother couldn't get his car to start this morning. Could this little light be drawing enough power to run the battery dead over night? Should he just get a wiring harness and hook wires up like that?
If the stereo runs even with the ignition turned off, then you have wired a continuous power supply to the radio instead of an accessory, and that will drain his battery. I always recommend using a wiring harness when installing an aftermarket stereo, as there is no way you can accidentally wire something wrong.
Q: I want to make wire art but I'm not sure what type of wire to use
They also sell rolls of other wire, click on metals in the top sequence, choose one then choose wire.
Q: 01 F350 that did not come factory with cab lights.Bought the recon cab lights that come with its own harness. No plugs on the ends, just plain wires on the end. Where does the green wire splice in to behind the passenger kick panel?
If okorder it will give you a complete wiring diagram of you entire truck.
Q: I was re-wiring a light switch and a fan control knob and I accidentally cut a wire too short. This wire comes out the front of the fan dial and goes around to the back, connecting to another wire, thus placing a wire nut impossible. Can I just link the two ends together, then seal it with electrical tape? Or do I have to buy a new fan dial (which will cost $25, a cost I'm trying to avoid)? Will just the tape be safe enough?
You should definitely use wire nuts but your fan dial is totally savable. Just use two wire nuts with a short piece of wire in between the short ends you have. Wire nuts are important because you need to clamp the wires together to get a good amount of conductivity. If you just taped the wires together they would touch but not well enough to make a good low resistance union. Bad connections are high resistance and cause heat and then fires.
Q: I have a set of two rotating beacon lights on my truck. I would like to wire these directly to the vehicle with an on/off switch. I picked up a two prong toggle switch from autozone, as well as some wire. I'm not sure how I need to do the wiring. I read somewhere about running wire from the fuse box? And how about grounding?

Q: I made a kill switch for my car. All I need to do now is cut the wire that goes into my engine control module and join it with the switch I made. Would it be fine if I just use wire nuts or some sort of tape to join the wires instead of soldering? The instructions say quot;Step 6: Attach the killswitch wires one to each side of the wire you just cut. Step 7: Tape up all new connection.quot; It says to tape the new connections, but should I use exactly?
When you are cutting wires Especially when it concerns computers you should make a good mechanical connection and a good connection free from moisture and any type of corrosion. When I splice the wires together I use butt connectors with shrink warp and melt the shrink wrap around the wires after crimping the butt connectors together. You can buy heat shrink wrap at radio shack or any electrical supply store and buy heat shrink tubing to put over the wires. Some will say this is overkill, but since electricity passe's over the outside of the wire this is where you get corrosion and cause yourself headaches if the wire is not mechanically connected correctly. Wire nuts are for household connections like in florescent lamps or inside a connector box and normally used on single strand wire like romex 12/3 or 10/3 but not on multi strand wire. it's best to solder the wires together then heat shrink them if you know how to. Remember that .02 Ohms resistance can cause problems with computer operation hope this helps.
Q: i just bought a 97 jeep wrangler..the soundbar isnquot;t hooked up. I pulled the carpet back and found the following: a red wire connecting the soundbar to under the dash (probably power), and a black wire connecting the soundbar to metal. there are 4 small wires unattached to anything coming from the soundbar, and a red and white sound wire coming from under the dash (actually has plugs like on a tv surround system), and a ground wire all unattached. how can i hook this mess up to make the soundbar work. i do have sound coming from the front dash speakers. thanks for help.

Q: what wires connect from the vehicle to the a/f sensor
Why do u want to know what wires go to the sensor? If you have a code for the a/f sensor..99 % of the time it is an open in the sensor itself. On rare occasion there are others like a chewed wire by a rodent. But I would just recommend replacing the a/f sensor. And i u were to follow the wires from the male connector they would lead you to a big wire harness that basically just all ends up at the ECU. Just in case u wanted to know.
Q: Who sells just 4 gauge power and ground wire so I can do the big 3 upgrade?
any car audio installer can hook you up with the right high grade wire by the foot in any gauge your looking for.theres a difference between home depot wiring and car audio wiring.the car audio wiring has a strand count.the more the better.
Q: anybody got a diagram or instructions on how to wire an amp wiring kit in a 1999 audi a4
