Q: just need how u think it would be wired for like the whole circuite thingy: One wire has to be in a circuit that goes to the metal center of the bottom of the bulb and the other wire goes to the metal srew threaded part of the bulb. Then you cut one wire and put the switch in between the ends. The other loose ends of wires go to the battery.

Q: I made a kill switch for my car. All I need to do now is cut the wire that goes into my engine control module and join it with the switch I made. Q: I am replacing old 3 button (vertically aligned) light switch. There is 1 thick wire wrapped in white, 1 thick wire wrapped in black and 4 thin wires wrapped in black. I attached the white wire to the common wire screw and put the remaining wires around the screws. I am also replacing a toggle switch that will control the vanity lights above the sink. There are 4 clumps of wire coming through the box. The copper grounds are all twisted together, and there are multiple strands of white covered wire twisted together and then the 5 black cover wires and 1 white covered wires. There are 4 wire alarms that are design for serial alarms. Smoke alarm it's required ,without AC power act and also With AC power act .mean if AC power go off then system will respond on battery power .

Thanks!: I wish contractors followed the wiring / building codes. The white wires are neutral wires that return the circuit back to the panel. Grey? where in the world did that come from BUT I have to assume that it's the hot wire from the panel. Black black with the white tracer to your grey wire. White to the white if at all possiable put a screw in the box with the green wire or at least wrap it around the screw from the horseshoe that you are putting in the box. Be sure that the switch is off. If it's wired properly there will be no hot wire in the ceiling box. The hot is open at the switch. That's why the light doesn't turn on. Follow me?

Q: I needed a new tail light for my trailer. The aftermarket tail lights only came with two wires sticking out the back, one red and one black. The stock tail light that broke had 3 wires and so does the harness on the trailer end. People have told me that even though it is different it will work. Do I join the two hot wires together with the red wire and then the return wire to the black? There is no wiring diagram avalible and I dont have the money to replace then entire lighting system. Thanks for your help.: Pull the lens and look at the bulb. If it is a 2 element bulb then it will work, if it is a single element it will not. If it is a 2 element then one of the wires is turn and stop light and the other is tail light. It will use a body ground in that case. On your trailer harness you will have a brown wire, that is tail lights, the turn and stop light (same wire) will be either green or yellow depending on what side of the trailer you are on. The white wire is ground. The turn and stop light will be much brighter than the tail light so just twist the wires together and see which is which. You can hook the white wire to the mounting screw of the light fixture to be sure you have a good ground.

Q: u said when i buy a jvc wiring harness one end plugs in the back of cd player and the wires coming out of that connect to the wires in car will they be the same color though? right now there is a harness already on the cd player and the wires are on it and they are pretty long i thought i just wire those wires from it to the ones in car but they diff. colors: Do you have a wiring diagram for your car? In there, they have the color codes for the speakers, dash illumination ( so when you change the lighting on your dash, your radio will change too), power attena, constant power for the clock and presets. If you don't have the diagram, check online for it. If you bought your deck from crutchfield, they include plugs that fit your car so you dont have to cut wires. Good lluck with it.
