Q: I have a dog and I still couldn't teach him where to pee and potty. So, I m planning to buy a carpet cleaner. Should I go with the Rug Doctor, which I used to rent and know it cleans perfect but very expensive ($700). or should I buy any other cheaper brand? Actually I don't want to spend that much for a carpet cleaner. Do you think Bissell Proheat 2X 8920 ($194) works fine for pet stains?: Instead of investing in a rug doctor try some pet stain and odor eliminator to treat the areas and then some pet OFF which smells terrible and the dog won't go there again. The dog needs to be able to go outside or given an area to go. My dog can stay inside for 10 hours or more and waits for me to let him outside because I praise him when he wants to go out.

If you live in the UK, for example, and have cobs which are out 24/7 they wont need a rug for most of the year, unless they are clipped or the weather is exceptionally wet. So there is no more efficient way to lay the carpet?: carpet area = (18*20)/9 = 40 sq yards and if an exact size was available, would cost $1140 but since you HAVE to buy a roll 12ft x 100 ft , the carpet will cost you $3800, as you have calculated
