- Get a strong spotter. And do the heaviest weights you can possibly bench. Even if it means only doing one rep. Get in the rep, and take a break. This causes you to strain and push your muscles to their max. It makes more tissue tear, but when it repairs/heals, you will have bigger and stronger muscles. But I must say, don't get too carried away because it can be very risky.

- Q:Alright so I have been lifting for about 3 months now...but my bench press is just not getting stronger. Ive been stuck at around 135-140 for anywhere from 8-12 reps depending on how i feel. My military press, in the past few months has gone around 80 pounds for 10 reps to now about 100 pounds for 10 reps, which I guess is ok progress but definitely not amazing. I am 17 years old, 6 foot 3 and weight about 170 pounds. I eat ALOT, and after workouts i supplement with protein shakes. I have been gaining weight fairly steadily. - Gotta transfer it up guy. Muscles get used to stuff over the years. Throw in four reps of five's. I cherish to do pyramids eight reps. 6 reps. four reps. two reps. Reps of 12 each every now and then is well too.

- Hi. I have the specified equal skin as you besides i'm as light as will also be! Haha i use CoverGirl loose powder. It comes in a bit bathtub w/ a brownish prime. As for pressed powder, i've CoverGirl TruBlend but each time I apply pressed powder, my flakiness simply shows up extra so I have a tendency to use pressed w/ a brush too. Additionally, if you are oily in the course of the day, are attempting oil blotting sheets. Smooth and Clear makes some which are slightly low-cost and i've heard just right things about them. Hope this helps!
- Q:I want to make my own herbal tinctures at home, such as echinacea and cayenne tinctures. I see presses vary in price, from around $40 to almost a thousand $. Does a $40 herb press do the job, this job being to be able to make a few quarts of tincture from one batch of herbs?
- I have never heard of using a press for tinctures. I think of a press for expelling oils. Tinctures are liquid extracts using the herb and a medium like alcohol (grain alcohol or vodka), vinegar or glycerin. When I make tincture, I am usually using fresh leaves. I get enough leaves to fill the bottle. I run the leaves through the food processor and pack the bottle. Then I fill the bottle with the liquid. I use 90 proof vodka or grain alcohol with water 50/50. Vinegar I use straight. I have never tried glycerin for my homemade tinctures. I did make valerian tincture a long time ago. I used the powdered root and I forget the amount I used. You can use leaves, flowers, roots or the peppers, crush or chop and for dry ingredients fill your container halfway and then add the alcohol. I would spend my money on bottles, herbs or alcohol rather than a press. Good luck! Making a gallon would require a lot of herbs. Dry herbs would be equal to half a gallon of chopped herbs to a gallon of alcohol. Most tinctures need to age for around 6-8 weeks.Then you strain them out through a sieve and then a cheesecloth or tightly woven white towel. Then bottle. Remember, tinctures are strong medicines. Use them by drops or dilute before ingesting.
