FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q: Or does it have to be replaced when it gets dirty ?Even if it can't be washed using water, could I use one of my other vacuum cleaners to vacuum off the dirt ?
I'm assuming you no longer have the instructions that came with it? Google the make and model number there should be onlilne instructions. I've washed vacuum cleaner filters before, but they usually don't work as well after.
Q: I dont mean rugs, I realize they have been around for centuries. I mean wall to wall carpet, installed on the floor of a home with tack strips, not able to be easily removed to be cleaned.I am curious about specific timing, of when home vacuum cleaners became widely available, and when wall to wall carpet became popular. My mother tells me it was sometime in the 1950s.We were having a debate of whether or not the invention of the vacuum facilitated the popularity of home carpeting, (which is what I think), or if the desire for full home carpeting prompted the production and sales for home vacuum cleaners.I mean, it would make no sense to put a floor thats not easily cleaned in a home right? Therefore the vacuum must have been pretty available before the first home carpeting went in right?
Vacuum. Since before human civilization there has existed the vacuum of space. The Vacuum Cleaner itself was invented around 1860 as seen in the wikipedia link below. I couldn't find a date for Wall to Wall carpet. I'm thinking that if anything it's probably wasn't until the 20th Century that Wall to Wall carpets were common place, maybe in the early 1920's? But it looks like the Vacuum would be first.
Q: Should I seek help?
It depends whether your fetish is mainly centered on the white woman or the vacuum cleaner.
Q: We need a really quiet vacuum cleaner that can be operated while meetings are going on. Any suggestions
The quietest one I know is a Ghibli. I have one. If you're standing beside it, you can talk to someone in a normal voice. Mine doesn't have a beater bar which is the noisiest part of a vacuum cleaner but has lots of suction and does a very good job on carpets without it. Go to a vacuum specialty store and see what they have. I understand that Miele is very quiet too. When you're checking out vacuum cleaners, note that most of them give a decibel rating in the specs
Q: when you turn it on the brush should spin when you vacuum but it doesnt and when i pick the vacuum up it starts spinning..?
Seems to me you should try to take the bottom off of the vacuum and see what is stuck. Maybe something wrapped around the motor. more than likely it's the beater brush that's stuck. Lift it out and take the ends off. They usually screw off like opening a jar. and clean underneath those pieces you just took off. The fact the the belts keep breaking is telling me that the MOTOR is running, that's what's breaking the belt. the belt is stuck because the brush is stuck, the motor however is turning thiis Still brush till the belt brakes. good luck to ya.
Q: vacuum cleanerspetrolbakeriesmmmmm
Walking by a laundromat, ahhhhhhhhhhhh, the dryers section especially.
Q: for the cordless onesTHanks!:)
Old vac's like the BD Dustbuster (which I have) use Nickel Cadmium cells. Not sure about new models but NiCd's are cheaper than newer alternative NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride).
Q: I sucked up 2 big spiders, bigger than a quarter and 1 moth with a vacuum nozzle thing. after i sucked up the last spider, i left the vacuum on for about another minute to make sure the spider is dead. do you think its dead? cause now im scared to leave my room cause im afraid the spiders can crawl back up.
Why not catch them and let them sleep beside you on your bed? Iv heard they are great sleep inducers
Q: Hi I'm considering buying one as I have back problems and vacuuming is tough for me, but I'm not sure how effective they would be. If anyone has used one, please let me know, Thank you!
The Roomba floor vac is basically a sweeper. It will not replace vacuuming, and it misses quite a bit of things on carpet (i.e. dog hair), it seemed to work better on the hard wood floors. We had one for a short time until our dog attacked and killed it. I honestly did not think it was worth the price, but it does help a little when you have a lot of floor space to cover.
Q: it's just a little cheap fabric couch but it's all I have
This removes fluff from clothes so it will also work on your couch since it is fabric. Good luck
