FAQ
Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?
Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.
Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.
Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?
All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.
- Q: What kind of power inverter can handle a house vacuum cleaner?
- A BIG one. It should be rated to deliver at least 2500 watts continuously. Such an inverter would be very costly, and run even a very large battery down very quickly. A generator rated for 2500 watts or more would be much easier, and probably cheaper, to feed.
- Q: Our old dryer wouldn't dry clothes so we replaced it with a brand new one. We're having the same problem so I'm assuming the vent is blocked. I'm not very handy and I electrocute myself routinely so I want to make sure I'm not doing anything dangerous if I hop on the roof with and try fishing any crap out of the vent. Suggestions or warnings?
- Natasha i think of you may call your landlord and characteristic him/her are available in and look on the way the dryer is desperate up with the aid of fact no that doesn't sound precise. To do away with the moldy scent on your clothing wipe out the in the dryer with organic white vinegar, do no longer dilute it and then once you wash your clothing upload in basic terms some cap's crammed with organic white vinegar into the wash and that could do away with the scent. i do no longer understand what you employ for washing cleansing soap even though if it incredibly is advisable to objective diverse the Oxy with baking soda, it smells very fantastic and pass away your clothing smelling large. perfect of success to you Natasha Oh yeah additionally take the vent from the dryer and wash on your kitchen sink with vinegar in basic terms be constructive to permit it dry thoroughly till now you place it lower back in to the dryer.
- Q: why do dogs hate vacuum cleaners so much?
- I know. I have had several dogs that would just go nuts over the vacuum. My dog now barks at it from under the bed, it must hurt their ears. Maybe they see it as a threat.
- Q: I'm trying to find a good deal on a Dyson. I know I've seen them on sale in the past...and Target once had a deal where if you bought one, you'd get a $100 gift card.
- just have to keep an eye out no real season on deals for vacuum cleaners
- Q: I currently have a Bissell bagless. It just seems where I live (rural area) I am vacuuming 3-4 times a week and although I take the vacuum apart and clean regularly, it just doesn't seem to pick-up like I think it should. Anyone have an opinion on the Dyson vacuum cleaners? I am considering purchasing one and would like to know what you like or dislike about it. Thank you
- I have a dc15 ball dyson. I love it it sucks up everything. it really works great. and with the lifetime filter i wash that about once a month. the cons.. I like using the floor attachment for the hose for hard floors than the head of the vacuum. but other than that I looooove it!!! plus i like the way it manuveurs easier than others. some say not having a light on this one makes it difficult to see in small places. I have not had that problem.
- Q: What vacuum cleaners would you recommend besides hoover. The price is not important ?
- Personal preference aside, bagless vacs are notoriously expensive to own. There are usually 2-3 filters that can set you back $40+ anually, and don't forget, THEY ARE ALWAYS DUSTY. My favorite is a Panasonic, bagged, HEPA quality vacuum. It goes for about $200 and it has a great feature: motor by-pass. This means the motor is not IN the path of the debris you are sucking up, but the motor is behind the bag. Say goodbye to motor clogs and worse, jammed/seized/broken motor fan assemblies! Dysan is good out the box, but it is impossible to get parts down the road, so they are becoming 'disposable'... and at $400+ that is not good. In addition to Panasonic, my customers have have nothing but great reviews on Fuller (yes, the Fuller Brush Man!) and Sanitaire.
- Q: There are many other things in our houses that make a racket, and the dogs and kitties are alright with them, but, drag out the Hoover, and, wow!, it's as if you were coming after them with a chainsaw. Why is this?
- Probably because the vacuum is bigger than them, it's close to the floor, and they feel the loud noise is something trying to attack them. My cat is scared of my vacuum too. I play a little chasing him, but I don't really bother him with it. Sometimes, animals aren't scared, because they know you control the vacuum, and you won't hurt them. Krazy Libra
- Q: I vacuumed a spider. Is it dead now or is there a possibility it will crawl right out?
- If it hit something going into the dryer, it may be dead. Otherwise, you just sucked it up and it will probably come out, if it finds it's way thru the dirt and dust.
- Q: Here is the question:Inside all vacuum cleaners is a high speed fan. Explain how this fan causes dirt to be picked up by the vaccum cleaner.I am a tutor but dont understnad this so just give em the answers and ill choose your answer, for the kids.
- the fan causes the vacuum cleaner to suck-in the air. as the moving air passes by the dirt particles, it's the INTERACTION of the moving air and the dirt that causes the dirt to be drawn along with the air. basically, the air molecules bash into the dirt particle and impart energy (momentum) to the dirt, and this is what makes it move. if there was no air motion over the dirt, then the dirt particles would not respond to the vacuum cleaner.
- Q: Can I use my vacuum cleaner to suck up the excess co2 in the air?
- I sucks that up along with excess O and N
