- Have you looked at the H20 Vac? Sorry, I don't know if you meant sanitary for your home/people, but the H20 Vac seems to do both. It uses tap water as a filter, so there's no nasty bags to replace, no dust going anywhere, etc. It uses steam power can clean wet messes as well (like a ShopVac). The water filter system traps dirt, instead of letting it go back out into the air like most vacuums do, even if they say Hepa Filtration or some BS.

- You need to explain this better, it makes no sense as it is. edit: no way to know exactly. Voltage alone tells you nothing. But the power used (in watts) could be a guide, if you have that number, in watts. 1400 mA-hour is a measure of the charge stored in the battery, so that is no help, as you need a time number to convert that to mA, which, with the voltage, can give you power in watts. My experience is that hand held vacuum cleaners are all very feeble.

- nobody would make a vacuum cleane rthat might suck up hot embers. a central vac is just that. use a shopvac with water in the bottom for your wood stove and remove the filter so it doesn't get cooked, or a bucket and shovel. sorry!

- I can tell you this I go thru vacs like water.the best on to get is the one with the highest amp but no matter which one you buy none of them will do what you want that's why the added a hose and attachment.it would have to have sum suction to do that and if it did you couldn't get it to move.so for what it is worth use the hose and the attachment
