I tried vacuuming, but my bird got scared and jumped to the bottom of the cage, so I figured to get a little birdhouse to move him while I did it. - Your kidding right? People have owned, raised, and dealt with conures for centuries. How do you suppose they cleaned thier homes? There was or is no technique special for pet birds, you just clean. Common sense will or should guide you however when spraying chemicals or getting the vacum hose too close to your bird, now I'm kidding.

- I don't know about that one. I do have a suggestion if you can afford to spend a little more money though. The Dyson vacuum cleaners are excellent. We have one and have three cats and a dog and it really does a great job.

- Q: I have a memory foam mattress topper that was vacuum packed in its original box, and when I took it out originally, it expanded to many, many times its original vacuum packed size. I live far away and need to ship it to myself now, but now that it's not vacuum packed and shrunk, I can't get it much smaller than the largest of my suitcases. Is there any place that I can go to get it industrially shrink wrapped or vacuum packed (preferably in the DFW area) so that I can get it down to at least a fraction of its original size? The home vacuum sealers won't do the trick; this mattress pad is much too strong and large for what they are intended to do. I've tried and nothing works, I'm thinking only an industrial stength vacuum packer will work.
