Q:Okay so I realize how dumb this question sounds. I have severe OCD. You know how a toilet sends particles into the air when you flush it? Well, does the same happen with a vacuum cleaner? Like, if I vacuumed my room, would all the particles on my floor go into the air/onto my stuff? I hate that I need this reassurance-but could somebody please explain to me in detail? Much appreciated(:

Q:I think my little brother (almost 20 months old) has Zuigerphobia. I know I'm being stupid, but I'm just curious. Is there a high chance that my brother will grow up with Zuigerphobia or Ligyrophobia? Or will it pass over, like for most people? I don't want him to be in his 30's, hiding in fear of the world.
Lol he will probaly be fine. He is just a little kid who is probaly startled by the loud noises the vacuum makes. As he gets older he will learn it is nothing to be afraid of. In the mean time just vacuum when he is not home
Q:How efficient are vacuum cleaners in preventing the dust and other dirt that they suck from escaping through the air outlet. I'm using a Khind branded wet and dry vaccum cleaner model VC 3661, priced about USD 60, manufactured in 2004. The type that is shaped like a bucket and has its air outlet facing upwards and a removable, washable cotton bag inside. I notice that it has only two layers (slices) of dark -colored Sponge like material when I remove the air outlet cover. Is that sufficient to prevent dust, dirt and most importantly bacteria from coming out form the cleaner itself. It could be releasing the bacteria and spreading it all over the place.
Vacuum Cleaners Comparison Chart - a comparison with pluses and minuses of all the best Vacuum Cleaners Compare vacuum cleaners by manufacturer: - Miele vacuum features - Eureka vacuum features Best Vacuum Cleaner Articles - Editor's top picks on vacuum info How a Vacuum Cleaner Works Most people use a vacuum cleaner on average one hour per week. Incidentally, when vacuum cleaner manufacturers talk about the life of a hepa filter, they are basing it on one hour of weekly usage. A vacuum cleaner usually works by having a power head attachment to a canister or integrated into an upright, which has some rotating brushes, which first of all loosen up the dirt on the carpet.
Q:I need to buy a vacuum but I don't know what one I should get! Some help please? It needs to be able to go from carpet to hardwood. Actual Hardwood. And I would rather have bag less then bagged.Any suggestions?
It is hard to be specific, but you might also say if you want a canister or upright. There are so many different models. One important factor is the noise. You need to decide if you or your neighbors can stand the noise. Bagless sounds good because it saves the cost of vacuum bags, but consider the mess of opening the machine and having all that dust fly around and scraping and tapping the filter. The Hoover self-propelled is the fastest that I have found, but it is really noisy and you have to use the control on the front of the machine to go from bare floor to carpet.
Q:Can poor people own Dyson vacuum cleaners?
No. They buy Oreck XL's from Rent to Own and get set up on the weekly payment plan. Only 100 more payments of $9.99 and it's mine!
Q:I was wondering how mch Psi/Atm needed for the high and low pressure pool vacuumes such as The Surfer Above Ground Automatic pool cleaner.
You can never have more than 1 atm in a vacuum system. Obviously the more vacuum you generate, the better it will clean. Most vacuum cleaners probably produce between 50-80 inches of water vacuum.
Q:I am in China and don't have any carpet in my apartment (thank goodness!). I was thinking of getting a vacumn cleaner as it is aways so dusty but will this do more harm than good to my health in my apartment. Is it better just to sweep regularly and mop up the dust? Thanks !

Q:I am planning to buy a vaccum cleaner to my home. What do you guys think having a portable one rather than the normal heavy kind?Any idea about the price of an average one?
A bad idea. I think Dyson make the best vacuum cleaners and there not too heavy if weight is an issue. Portable models often lack the power to clean well or quickly, and in the end when your cleaning those two reasons should direct your purchase.
Q:Hans Klobber sells vacuum cleaners. He gets to keep one eighth of his sale as a commission. How much must he sell in order to earn $1000?
He must sell $8000 because if he kept one eighth of it, he would have $1000
Q:My vacuum cleaner is broken and I was just thinking what did people use before vacuum cleaners? random question I know but it just popped into my head.
little known fact: the vacuum came before the carpet.
