- Q: I have a two piece standard Kenmore vacuum (not an upright vacuum but one of those that the hose attaches to the body). Anyways, I was vacuuming and then all of a sudden the roller quit spinning. I thought maybe some string or some other obstruction was preventing the roller from spinning or perhaps the belt broke. But I took everything apart and found out the motor doesn't spin. I can't even spin it manually. If I remember right shouldn't the motor be able to spin freely? My motor is stuck and won't spin and I can't find any obstruction preventing it from spinning.Any thoughts?And secondly, can you clarify if the motor should spin freely when the vacuum is turned off because I could have sworn that in the past if anything got wrapped around the roller (like string) I could easily unwind it.

- Some dust does go back out the vacuum's exhaust. the better filter that you have on the vacuum the less dust it will spew out. However you are vacuuming up far more dust than what is being put back into the air. If you have severe allergies or respiratory problem you can always wear a mask while vacuuming.
- Q: Okay so I realize how dumb this question sounds. I have severe OCD. You know how a toilet sends particles into the air when you flush it? Well, does the same happen with a vacuum cleaner? Like, if I vacuumed my room, would all the particles on my floor go into the air/onto my stuff? I hate that I need this reassurance-but could somebody please explain to me in detail? - Q: I have two pembroke welsh corgis who shed like crazy and bare floors (no carpet at all). I am looking for a great, affordable vacuum that does not collect hair in the bristles on the bottom of the vacuum but actually sucks it up into the machine. HEPA included preferably since I suffer from allergies to a ridiculous amount of indoor allergens. Any suggestions of good or even bad vacuum cleaners to buy would be great! Thanks :)
- We also have allergies (and asthma) to deal with in our home, PLUS we have a mini zoo of cats and dogs. I have always recommended our Dyson vacuums to family because of this. Most of the Dyson vacuums (if not all maybe) are certified and recommended by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

- Q: I've got a project to do involving me creating an advertisement for a useless product, and this came to mind. If you need more explanation I believe the vacuum was on a television infomercial at one time, and it looks like a small saucer. It will continue to move across your floor without any assistance and vacuums as it goes. I'm not sure if there were multiple versions of this thing, I'm just looking for one name or brand that has it.
