- Q: Coat HangersStaircasesVacuum CleanersPlungers
- I dunno about three of them, but my vote goes for Kirby vacuums... And I freakin LOVE your avatar!
- Q: Vacuum cleaners, are dyson or any bag less better than bagged ones ?What do you think ?
- NO, Gone through 3 dysons in 5 years, just bought another henry for the house cheap, powerfull best in my book, had the same one for 8 years (im a plumber) it picks up anything
- Q: This is the add quot;START NOW Hamilton based company has openings in all departments: v Sales v Service v Office v Warehouse $2,750 monthly/$18.42hr to start All training provided for selected applicants. Call for Interview Mon. Tue. Only 905-560-4888 quot;I went for an interview today and got the job. The company is called world wide industries and says they are rated quot;number onein Canada. After searching on google for the company I cant find any information about them. They didnt tell me what I would be selling but when you call the number it says vacuum cleaners. They said they set all of the appointments up for me and the equipment I just go and sell the product. My first day is wednesday and I have to wear a dress shirt and tie etc. I was wondering if anyone has heard about this? Is this a scam? Is this a waste of my time?
- It's a Nigerian money laundering scam that can land you in prison NEVER give your home address to anyone you have not interviewed with in person. Not to mention that it's illegal for any employer to ask your age, sex or marital status. They could be fined for even asking this if they were for real You really think that someone would offer a caregiver job to someone they have never even met? This is one of the most common scams out there
- Q: Hi there,I know that a lot of bagless vacuums are sold as quot;Cyclonicquot;, but I remember hearing somewhere that only Dysons actually remove all the dirt from the air by cyclonic action, whilst the rest also rely on filters. Is it true that other companies can not (due to patents, etc.) make vacuum cleaners that work in exactly the same way as a dyson, or is it just an urban myth created by clever marketing on the part of dyson? If anyone (in the UK) has a vacuum they think is comparable to a dyson, I'd love to hear about it, cheers.
- Dyson vacuum are terribly overpriced and not nearly as good as their ads state. Besides, when you go to empty that tank you better have the entire machine outside or you'll have dust all over the house. Consumer reports rates vacuums every so often. Their latest top rated machine is the BOSS by Eureka.
- Q: Currently I have an Electrolux 2 in 1 Pronto but I am not satisfied with this vacuum cleaner because I have to leave it plugged in for hours to charge and recently it has not been picking up the dirt very well.. I use it to clean a linoleum floor. Can anyone suggest a good vacuum cleaner for a linoleum floor that does not have to be plugged in? Thanks.
- I have a Dyson vacumn cleaner..I always had such problems with all my vacumn cleaners until I bought this Dyson...I had to buy one about every 2 yrs..for some reason or another...I got so tired of it one day ,I went and splurged on this one...I have it over 4 yrs now and NO problems ever...I don't need to replace bags or filters....The cord is extra long...It is very strong,,(In fact the first time I used it ,,I knocked it down my cellar steps and I thought it broke on the concrete..I did come apart, but I put it back together ,no problem...I talked my sister into getting one...We both swear by them... It was well worth the extra money.. Good luck.
- Q: I was thinking of getting one of those as seen on TV, I am an allergy sufferer and need the most efficient to get rid of the dust mites, bacteria etc..
- We had a rainbow vacuum when I was a kid. I really liked it. It wasnt heavy, and the dirt stayed in the water, not back into the air like most vacuums today. It finally died after about 20 years of use. Good Luck finding a vacuum today to last that long. I havent used a rainbow in years, but it was a great vacuum. I would love to have one now, but just cant afford it. You should see if there are any places that will let you use it on a 7 day or 30 day trial. Just to see for yourself if it works well.
- Q: I had sales people come to my door last night. I was just getting in the shower. I told them I had very little time. Two came in and demostrated. The woman was very understand and went through it fast. When they were getting ready to leave the big boss came in. I am assuming to close the deal. He went throught the demo all over again. I kept telling him I have been through it already. Three hours later they were leaving!! She apologized. It seems like an amazing vacuum, but a lot of work. In addition to the work it was going to cost me 1900.00! I hear they Dyson (misspelled I am sure) is good. Does anyone know anything about the Dyson?
- I actually went throught the whole vacuum choosing thing a year ago and we actually discovered a vacuum cleaner named wertheim to be the best!!!! it was $700 but its fantastic for cleaning much better than a dyson because it has a motor head
- Q: I don't know, they just suck.
- Sounds like a personal problem. I just don't like how loud they are.
- Q: ...what would you do?
- i would pretend that you had on clothes and continue my sale pitch......just to psych your mind. its hard as heck to sale those things door to door and with this economy I couldnt risk not making a sale :)
- Q: I've seen a lot of advertisements for Sears Cannister Vacuums on sale or on closeout recently. Are these vacuums any good, on an absolute level, and also for the money they cost?
- I clean houses for a living and love it when the house I'm cleaning has a canister vac.I own one myself and wouldn't ever own an upright.
