1. How long is the lifetime of machine? How long the battery can be used? How long we can use after one charge?
Answer: Please be assured that the life of V-BOT could be 5 years, as materials are very durable, generally will not bad, unless one day you are in a bad mood, kick it, it is estimated that will leave scars.
Battery can be used from 800 to 1000 times, an average of once a day can also be used for more than 2 years. Here we have all the accessories for machine, there is need to call us, ready supply! Machine filled with battery, you can use about one hour or so, if you use mopping mode alone, using time will be longer.
2. What are methods for battery maintenance?
Answer: When you are not using machine for a long time, let battery fully charged then take it off from machine, and place in a cool place. Recommend regular (approximately 15 days) added a power, let battery is in fully charged state. For next time better use .
When you long-term use of machine, we recommend 2-3 months with Direct charge three times, then use dock charge it. This is way of maintenance for battery, remember it!!

- For you depends on where you are and what is available at what price. If you can, go to the library and look at Consumer Reports recent issue..maybe October 2006. They rate different vacuum cleaners and give advice on cost, models to best suit your needs ( upright vs. canister, bagless vs. bag, self propelled, dust removal, and so on). You can look up Consumer Reports online, but I think they charge. In my experience, Hoover has some good ones and some really bad ones. Dyson is good if you have the cash. And you need no special bags or tools. Bissel is OK and has small inexpensive models.

- You can have the kind of vacuum cleaner with a spinning brush, which is the kind that works best for cleaning carpets. You just have to look after it and since you know that long hair is a problem then clean it out of the vacuum cleaner once in a while. A canister vacuum that gives you a choice between using the spinning brush or using a floor brush only might be a good choice. However, if you vacuum a carpet with just a floor brush it doesn't work that well and it doesn't matter how powerful the vacuum is. The beating action of that spinning brush is what knocks dirt out of the carpet so it can be vacuumed up. A floor brush probably won't even pick up all the hair and it definitely won't get all the dust out of the carpet. This isn't about how the machine performs. This is about you not giving the machine the maintenance it needs for the conditions it's being used in.

- If you have done all the checks to make sure there isn't a blockage then it seems you have a major problem. Most vacuum cleaners have a propeller (fan blade) that directs the air in the proper direction to effect suction. These propellers are usually made from plastic which over time will break especially when struck by a hard object that has entered the vacuum. It may be that yours is broken. If the vacuum is expensive it may be worth your money to have it repaired. If not, then toss it and buy another.

- Contact the Hoover Co. on line and see if there is a recall on the vac. Ask Customer service to replace it,give it a try anyway.There is no reason a company can not back-up their product within a reasonable time. Check your warranty .You might be better off getting a quality used vac,they cost about $1,200 new with all attachments.Find them in a moving sale. My friend has a Dyson but it doesn't beat Rainbow and Filter Queen.Rainbow and Filter Queen are the top of the line and worth the money. The Filter Queen is 25 years old and still going and quiet. The Rainbow uses water as a filter but it must be emptied after a days use. I like it because you need no bags and the water keeps dust from coming back into the air. Theses vacs are heavy duty canister types so you may not like that. I have found American made products are superior to imports..

- I use to own a Kirby and the motor went out on it after having it for 5 years. As expensive as that was ,I was not impressed and decided against sinking anymore money into it so I bought a Hoover Mach 5 which was about $200 and have liked the results I've goten with it. It is bagless and picks up pet hair very well. This was a couple years ago so a newer model than the Mach 5 is available I'm sure.Just because you pay more for something doesn't necessarily mean it is better. I would never buy another Kirby or a Rainbow for that matter.
