- Q: I'm not to fond of loud vacuum cleaners and neither is my cat so I'm looking for a vacuum cleaner that doesn't make to much noise. Anyone know of one?
- I would recommend either a Miele or a Sebo canister vacuum - they are extremely quiet vacuums (as far as vacuums go), and a lot of pets aren't scared / bothered by them (plus they are both great vacuum cleaners).

- I would try to take the vacuum cleaner apart to the motor. And used a Shop wet/ dry vacuum to carefully cleaned to motor, power nozzle, and the hose. Check the bag, or filter for clogged. If your vacuum have a bag. I will replace the bag. And make sure you put the vacuum cleaner back together and test it to see if it works a lot better. Be careful with the wires. I know that because I did it before.

- I use a vacuum called the shark at work and in my own home. They are battery operated and need to be charged but they work well in small spaces if you get the high powered ones!

- All that broomstick stuff was a lie promulgated by early Christianity. They actually flew on yarrow stalks. Nowadays they use Monsanto GM corn stalks for preference. Gotta move with the times. ;)

- Any vacuum that cheap will only be a piece of junk. The Dyson is a very good vacuum but the Shark is way cheaper. I use to own a Kirby which is suppose to be top of the line, and I actually like the Shark better, and we have two dogs and two cats.
- Q: Ok I have a eureka whirwind vacuum cleaner and whenever I use the hose and take it out of the hole and turn the vacuum on dust shoots out of the hole and i have to turn it back off because there is no point in using it if its just gonna shoot the dust back out! Does anyone know what the problem could be or what i could do to fix this? Any help would be highly appreciated!
- My Panasonic did the same thing when I pulled the hose a little to far one day. So, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape! And now it works fine. Looks silly, though, but who cares, so long as it works? That was the hole at the back, where the hose enters the machine; if it is the hole at the side where the hose stays when not in use, you have a clog that forces the dirt back out. So if you aren't adept at disassembling vacuum cleaners, have it checked if it's worth it to you. If not, a decent vacuum can be had for under $200.00.

One works okay, but the suction on the hand tool sucks (that one is a dirt devil) and the bissell bagless I have, spills dust/dirt everywhere...I have even taken the whole thing apart and it still is dirty and leaves a mess.I have a baby and a german shepard!Which vacuum works the best for you? the pick-up?
- I have a German Shepherd also and he malts everywhere! Miele hoovers I find are excellent. You can either get a cat and dog one or an allergy one, the suction on it is really good, so I would definitely recommend it.
