Q: Does anyone know how to reverse the air from a vacuum cleaner? In other words, instead of it sucking the air in, how do you get it to blow out?
I would only do this if you have an out take valve on the vacuum but if you have a new on then just read the instructions or phone the company and ask about this problem
Q: i hardly find a replacement for my electrolux vacuum cleaner filter bag... where do You think i can buy that in manila or batangas area here in the philippines
Alternatively, buy one of those more environmentally-friendly bag-less vacuum cleaners so you don't have to worry about the bag every time.
Q: Greetings, all! I am currently cleaning my room, as in looking for dust spots and trying to sweep it up. I tried vacuuming, but my bird got scared and jumped to the bottom of the cage, so I figured to get a little birdhouse to move him while I did it. I also cleaned the lamp that I was using to give him light at night, and I accidentally swept too fast, I saw the particles rise around the cage. I got so worried. Should I be worried? Or is it only a large accumulation that could damage the bird? What can I do?Thanks in advance!
You will be fine. If you are worried about your little buddy next time you clean, put him in a different room. I have a cat carrier that I put my parrot in if I need to keep her in a different room for a bit. As for the other guy's joke about the vaccume....I actually have a friend whose boyfriend did vaccume up her parrotlet, fortunately it was a shopvac not a vaccume with a bag, and the bird was ok!
Q: Please recommend a good & cheap vacuum for carpets and rugs.?
Go to a vacuum repair shop. They also sell 2nd hand vacuum cleaners.
Q: He doesn't seem to be scared of any other loud noise but he screams when we go to the store and pass by them. He also panics when we touch or go near our own vacuum at home. I just wonder if this is normal he's been scared of it for the longest time and still can't seem to get over his fear.
Perhaps he's generally afraid of loud noises. He may not react the same way in your home because it's his territory and he feels safe there. Try to determine his fears concerning the vacuum so you can put to rest any unnecessary fears. My five year old daughter is very jumpy when she hears loud noises and she would immediately cling to me too.
Q: I have acctually been asking this question for a number of years and have to admit that I am more interested in peoples reaction to the question than in a prosaic answer. However I wouldn't be oppossed to a definative answer from someone who builds the things. Just because I find it a silly place for a headlight doesn't mean theres not a valid reason for it being there.
I don't build them, but I know someone who repairs them. He always said it was for modern day witches who switched from the traditional broom to a high powered vacuum. seriously, the lights are just for dark corners and underneath couches and things.
Q: Can you list all the companies that ever made vacuum cleaners and the names of the vacuum cleaners?
would you like the model numbers also?
Q: Saw some kid on tv the other day that collects vacuum cleaners. Couldn't believe it. I guess there is a club for vacuum collectors. I think this is the craziest thing I've ever heard. What about you?
As unique and crazy as that sounds, I've never herd of such an activity. If you ask me it sounds rather odd, and pointless. I personally don't like vacuums though, they tend to make a lot of noise pollution and I just can't stand that. But, I guess all people have different things they find to their likings, but this is one thing I'll never understand.
Q: I have 2 vacuum cleaners, both need new electrical cords! How do I replace them?
I ran over my cord one time and had to take my vacuum cleaner to a repair shop to have a new cord put on. It was cheap. Maybe it was about 12 or 15 dollars.
Q: What kind of vacuum cleaners get around baseboards the best? Mine does ok with the floors but the edge cleaner is bad.
Buy anything but a Dyson. I know an owner of a vacuum cleaner store. He says they are the worst he has ever seen. The motors burn out very easy. He has even gone so far as to not carry them anymore. Good Luck!!!
