Q: What color carpet matching with rose red and beige sofa, beige tea table and white floor tile is better .
Khaki, brown, if you love cute, luscious pink is also good oh
Q: I'm buying a New Forest on Thursday and have done some research but just want to see what your opinions are? Lady has a very thick coat on at the moment and for the time being, while I gradually get her back into work I won't clip her. Will she be ok in and out without a rug? What would you do in this situation? If and when I do clip her, what rug do you recommend? Just turn out or stable too and if so what thickness? Thanks in advance.
Keep her the way she is for now until you start to do more than gentle hacking. But ask the previous owners about how much work she's been doing and whether they have clipped her in the past. I kept a NF unclipped throughout her life and always let her coat get reasonably thick before rugging her up for the rest of the winter. However, she was only ever in light work and did not sweat much. Cold is rarely a problem, only rain AND cold will bother her, so she will not need a very thick rug. I would say 9 or 12 rating is more than enough. I'm jealous - you're going to have SO MUCH FUN! :D
Q: I have two dogs and I am so tired of all the fur on the rugs.
I desire you may make clean the question. Do you merchandise basically to fur, or additionally to leather-based? What approximately eating meat? To me, there is not any ethical or ethical distinction between any of those issues. I devour meat and that i positioned on leather-based, so I have not have been given any reason to criticize all and sundry who wears fur. If somebody avoids all animal byproducts, I understand their perspective, whether i do no longer trust it. If somebody products to specific animal products yet no longer others, then they have not fairly theory the concern by way of alright.
Q: Bought a laura Ashley rug quot;Malmaisonquot; from OKorder - quite dirty. Also the rug is the largest. Can I put into a Launderette to wash in one of their machines???
The rug has too much wool in it to be machine washable. It needs to be professionally cleaned. Putting it in water will ruin it. Product code malmaison Material 59% cotton, 41% wool Care Instructions Professional Clean Only
Q: I'm taking on a rescue horse that my friend rescued. He has rainscald and I was wondering when turning him out should I put a rug on him? Because there so many diffrent answers also can you put louse powder on them? Also he ginger and I need a name really want it to be unqui :) thanks
ugh rainrot as i call it sucks:( My horse got it really bad one time, i agree with the below answer i would not put a rug or blanket over him the scabs need to dry out and get air to them a rug would just keep in all the mositure in. There are types of shampoo and cleaning supplies that are ment for that. While he has the rainscald i would highly recommend keeping him in a stall or barn if it is raining out, water getting to it will only make it worse. If it is a nice sunny day let him out so the sun can get to it and dry it out, once the scabs are dried out you can try brushing him to see if any loose ones will fall off, it will just take some time and attention before they all go away. best of luck!
Q: Carpeting a 1400 sq. ft. office. Price is an issue. I would like to lay them directly on plywood floor (no 1/4quot; underlyment). Will plywood seams show through? Should I even consider laying them without gluing down? Any experience good/bad? And suggested source? I see them on internet for $.66 sq foot for excess inventory. Thanks!
No carpet pad is needed. Carpet tiles have an integral pad built into them to keep the plywood seams from telegraphing thru the carpet. You should adhere them to the floor, and while I agree with the previous answer about quarter turning the tiles, you may want to lay a few out and see how you like it before you stick them down for good. There are many different ways you can position carpet tiles (very versitile). Check out Interface Carpet (yahoo search will give you the website). They have good ideas on installation methods. And 66 cents a sq. ft. is a great price!
Q: I have a large oriental rug that needs fringe. On one end, the fringe has been cut off completely. The other end has a few inches of the mesh rug backing at the end. Is there a way to add fringe and make it look fairly original to the rug?
If the rug is valuable, don't do anything! If it's a cheap one, sew on new fringe, but make sure you replace the fringe on the other side, to match
Q: What color carpet does the yellow sofa match?
The average yellow sofa should be made with a darker carpet, such as black and coffee. Also available in adjacent colors, blue, green, or black. Of course, this is just a personal feeling, ha, everyone has different eyes, like their own good.
Q: My parents bought a 5 x 7 area rug about 20 years ago, at K-Mart or somewhere abouts, and bequeathed it to me when I moved out. The colors are still really nice, but the problem is- and I suspect this has always been the case- its a bear to get clean. I don't mind a few spots, but it collects hair like mad. Its a very tight-woven rug, with no long strands. I run my Dirt Devil upright over it usually three or four times, and nothing budges. Is there a vacuum cleaner that is powerful enough to disentange hair from the carpet fibers? I really don't want to throw it out or store it, but I can't afford to have it professionally cleaned, at $100 a go, every month.
When I clean my area rugs I take them out to the driveway and spray them off with the hose. Mix some laundry detergent with water and scrub it with a brush, then spray it off really good again. The only downfall here is you have to let it dry outside in the sun, so this is best to do in the summer! And, unfortunately, if you do this often the rug will fade.
Q: I am thinking of buying a rotovac carpet cleaning system to start up a new business. Are they as good as they claim to be???
im sure they would be
