If you parallel a power cord, you could get 60 cycle in the speaker cord. This is why they would like you to run them at least 4 apart. However, you might not be able to do that. It will not damage the wire, nor create a short circuit. Just possible noise (a low frequency buzz).

If it powers.. then that's getting juice so that's no longer the means provide. attempt unplugging all demanding drives and CD force.. means it on.. Do you get a show? Plug each and each device in a million at a time until eventually eventually you artwork out which one it really is... also verify to make useful your demanding force wouldn't have any bent pints and make useful that that's totally plugged in.
Q: I had gave my amp a 16 volt input, then there was a spark which came from fuses that got burnt. I then replaced the fuses, rewired it nd gave it a 12 volt input it came on and went on protection. So i left it aside and after a few days i tryd connecting it again but this time it came on and it was burning the power cables no matter what guage wire i used. Any idea why its doing that?
It's a 12 volt DC car-type amp ? Sounds like it's got a short inside. But, unhook all the other wires, all the speaker leads imputs, except for the power the ground. Have a fuse in one of those two leads, turn the amp OFF, hook up it. If the fuse pops right away, then odds are it is now a piece-'o-junk. If it sits okay, turn it on, with no volume. Again, if the fuse goes, trash it. If it holds okay, hook up ONE of the speakers give it a little volume. Even without an imput, you should be able to hear a bit of static, which means it's working okay. Turn it off try another speaker....etc etc

Basically no, they are better wired separately unless you calculate the load. A ciggy lighter socket is not water proof so find a proper bike socket. BMW do them, You need to work out what the total load of these 2 are, and check the output of your alternator and the capacity of your battery to make sure you have enough ''spare'' power. What make of bike is it? What's the battery capacity and the output from the alternator. Electrics on modern bikes are usually good enough for accessories, I run 100w headlight 2 x 50w spots, sat nat phone and audio, not always all together, so do some sums on what power you have otherwise if it's only a small battery and alternator you could run the battery own whilst riding.
Q: I just finished building my shed, I put a 1 1/2 inch conduit under the shed coming up into the corner. I am now about to dig the 65 foot trench back to the house. I need to run power, not a problem. I want to run a phone line, a network cable, and a cable wire for my satellite. I say shed but it is 12 by 20 feet with an attic. Can I run these additional lines in with the power. I was thinking about using a run of Shielded cables for the network and one for the phone. For the cable some heavy duty quot;I don't know what thoughquot;. Will the power lines mess the data up on them? What will work for the three if any. If I need to I could run them in a new conduit, but that is not cheap!
Run the conduit all the way to the house, put the LV cables in it, Run the power in a separate metal conduit. If you do not wish to do it this way, dig a second ditch at least 3 feet deep and at least 4 feet away to separate the cable types. If they are close to each other, the power will induce a signal on the LV cables that will be a nuisance at least. If they must be close, have them cross at right angles.
