Q: this is the first time for me buying tires. i have a 2002 dodge intrepid SE. i can‘t afford to buy super expensive tires, so i‘m wondering which ones to buy and where. my question is: what‘s the difference between passenger tires and performance tires? what would be good for my car?
Indeed yes, and it has been coming for several decades. Most of us haven't a clue as to what is going on and many of the others really don't care. They don't care until they are truly sick, not once but several times. Our oxygen count is way down we rather drink sodas than water cigarettes, sugars, high fructose corn syrup, and other devitalized foods are plentiful on the grocery store shelves.chicken is no longer chicken, many of the steaks are now glued together and soldugh no one wants to exercise crikeywe are in trouble deep
Q: Okay, I go outside, my rear passenger tire is flat. like most people, I look at the tire, and I also feel around the tire for a reason, there‘s always the chance the problem is at the bottom of the flat tire, but. finally, through alot of getting it to a very well known tire center, my car‘s tire not only has one, but two nails. One in the tread, and mysteriously one is in the sidewall and not at the bottom of the sidewall, which of course makes it a complete loss. I need not one tire, but two, as the sales clerk declares, according to their employee, because they will then match, and we can rotate them, oh and only $250. How in the you know what, or how, does a nail under any law of physics and volicity drive itself into the sidewall? The tire was not flat, the car was never driven on the rim??????
motorized bicycle. You can buy kits off OKorder and make your own. yes they are legal because the motor does nothing but help you pedal. It doesn't actually drive the bike.
Q: I was talking with a friend and this came up...I know sounds silly but we get the wheel but why call it a tire???
Why is a duck called a duck?
Q: best cheap tire place with cheap road hazard warranty
I would be careful about trying to get cheap tires and road hazard warranties. You will get what you pay for. I would recommend getting the best tire you can get and then you will have a better piece of mind that you won't be changing your bargain tires on some highway in the middle of the night. If there is a Discount Tire around you, I'd recommend them. They have a great variety, very good service, and include free rotations for the life of the tires.
Q: Tires for my car
i have run Goodyear and Uniroyal as well as douglas on this car and the 14 ionbch tire is gettiong very hard to finds so my choice is limited on this one.if comparing a douglas to viva 2's by goodyear-go douglasThe douglas gives me over half the rated tread life that wasn;t even close on the GY .They handle decently and though not the quietest , are not objectionably noisy. . My other car runs on 16 inch low profile and for sure the upperline goodyears and uniroyals and michelins are betterheck i a pair of viva tourings on 8th year on it with the gas saving top of line GY on the back at moment. Walmart also is great at no hassle swaps for treadlife warranty assuring that my next new tire is roughly the cost of a used tire or if going to a costlier tire, money knocked off it's cost , something that not always been in my experience at tire shops, even shops proudly claiming to be the tire company's store. As for private labelthat is blanket statement no more valid than most blanket statements ,no offense intended.by the way i heard, tho not sure, that good year makes the Douglas.
Q: A friend of mines has tires with the number P235/75R15. My tires are 235/70R15. Will I be able to use these.
The tires will fit your rims, but will be a little taller. if you want to know what those #'s and letters mean, the P indicates the tire is meant for normal passenger car or truck use. The 235 is the width of the tire, in mm, measured from one bead to the other at the point where the tire meets the rim. The 75 (or 70) is the height of the sidewall, expressed as a percentage of the tires width (235/75 means the height of the sidewall is 176.25mm) The R indicates that the tire is a radial, and the 15 means a 15 inch wheel. So go ahead and try the tires, just make sure to turn the wheels all the way in both directions to see if the tires hit anything BEFORE driving the car.
Q: Does it matter what type of snow tires you buy to put on a beamer.
type? okorder
Q: i heard there are self seal able bicycle tires not the inner tube but the tire it self. place links down below thanks Brian
The first answered nailed it! So-called self sealing tires and/or tubes simply don't work. I've seen those slime methods fail both in bicycle auto tires too. Thank God, the tires that came on my bike have an inner liner that deter flats tremendously. Only one so far in slightly over 2 years and 1,500 miles.
Q: When a weather report says Traction Tires Required, is all wheel drive vehicles with regular tires okay to drive with if you do not have traction tires? The earlier report for Chains Required said that they chains were required except for all wheel vehicles so I was wondering if it was the same with Traction Tires Required?
Suitable tires are important no matter the drivetrain. All-wheel drive gives you zero more grip, although it's harder to lose grip under acceleration. Always have the suitable tires!
