3. Pictures of SHANDONG FENGYUAN TIRE
welcome to visit our company!
- Q: My cars manual states to have 32 PSI all around, however my mechanic said it should be around 40 PSI based on the tires that I have. They‘re performance seasonal tires. I was surprised to hear this so I kept them at 32 but what like to know if anyone else has heard of this or can offer an opinion. Thanks.
- Why you would take the advice of a mechanic (few of whom have any tire training at all in tires) over that of the people who spent years and billions of dollars developing your car? You did the right thing by sticking with the vehicle manufacturers recommendation as that will be correct for any tire of any brand or model so long as it is the same size that was originally fitted to the vehicle.
- Q: I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with a V8 4.7 Liter. My axle ratio is 3.55. I have 17 inch tires and they recommend 44 PSI. My GVWR is 6010lbs with a maximum trailer weight of 4,450. I am planning on pulling a 22 foot camper which is around 3,800lbs. Whew!, now to my question. Should I be changing my tire pressure when pulling the camper and if so, by how much. Thanks.
- The factory pressure specs will be good enough for that. If you have more pressure in the tire then you pass the capacity that is SAFELY recommended for that tire. Also, with the weight of a trailer or camper too much pressure will increase the risk of a blowout.
- Q: I was ordering tires for my 2009 Pontiac G3, the guy at the counter seemed really surprised I needed new tires at 19,000 miles and suggested I check on the warranty. Of course, I can‘t find that part of the warranty in my papers - anyone know this one?
- There is no warranty on tires with 19,000 miles on them due to too many variables like::: Do you rotate them at the recommend time? Did you hit something? Did you run them with the proper air pressure? Etc,Etc, All of which you couldn't prove regardless if you hae all your records. Tires tire defects usually turn up within the first 5 months after purchase. Some cars do wear out tires a little quiker than others just on which tire is on your vehicle. The Cadillac CTS-V goes through tires about the same mileage, it is normal not a warranty issue
- Q: I got a jeep wrangler and it has off road tires. one of them is dead and cant be repaired. i want to know if it would be a better investment to replace that one tire, or get 5 new on road tires.
- Off road tires have deep tread made of super soft rubber for lots of bite. I'll bet if you look at the side wall of these tires you'll see no UTQG rating. The higher the number after the letters UTQG the longer the tires last. Snow, race, tractor, go-kart tires have no wear rating either because it would scare everyone away from buying them. If you switch to regular tires again you won't have to put up with that awful tread howl when you drive down the road.
- Q: I was having some shaking while driving and braking. I was told I probably have a bad tire. They tires were rotated and I was told its 90 percent better but one of my tires is probably not good to go back to where I got them. They were put on in the last year. What does this mean, a bad tire?
- the belts in tires can separate and make a twist in the tread of the tire. that's normally what they mean by a bad tire. A separated tire will normally be noticeable at a slow speed. If it's on the front the steering wheel will shake. Any slow speed vibration is usually a separated tire and I suspect that's what you have.
- Q: What are the best tires to have for rainy, soggy weather, ford taurus?.What makes these tires the best? What should I look for when choosing tires?
- First you should look for the escape grooves on the tires for the water co come off really quick when you ride fast through water. I've chosen Vredestein Ultrac Giugiaro design.
- Q: The right side of the car tire wear serious problems
- Single check your car's suspension system there is no problem if there is no four-wheel positioning adjustment
- Q: how much should used tires run?what a fair market price should be.so what i should be looking for
- Think to yourself, Why are the tires being replaced? Because they were not good/safe enough to be run on the last persons vehicle. I never recomend used tires as you're buying someone elses problems. The only time I would ever recomending a used tire is when you have 3 good tires and 1 thats damaged and needing replacement, trying to track down one of the same type with the same amount of tread is the only time I would ever recomend used tires. Tires now adays are cheap for some brands, take a look at Kelly, GT Radial, Continental, Hankook and some of the other low end sister companies to brand name tires (like Kely is sister to Dunlop Tires). Some offshore brands are half decent as well, I would personally go after a cheaper tire then to buy a used tire. I've seen some starting at $40/tire, and up, depending on the size and style. Plus, unlike used tires, you will get a manufacture warranty (depends at times, sometimes they ask for proof of purchase), as well as warranty from the company that installed them.
- Q: Is it better winter tires to be wide or thin. I mean the surface that comes to contact with the snow, for a better grip, on snow and ice.
- A product called static gaurd. They even make it in a purse size bottle. Also rub a bounce dryer sheet on your legs and dress. You can put one in a zip lock bag for your purse also. I use the unscented ones so I don't smell like a bounce!
- Q: anything and everything.any topic is fair game.WHAT are YOU tired of?
- I am sick and tired of all the coverage on tv about Anna Nicole Smith. I think it's just disgusting how that lawyer Howard Stern is going on shows and exploiting that baby to make money. I hope that they find out who the father is sometime soon so they can put everyone out of their misery.
