Q:Im buying a horse who doesn't come with anything, i know what else i need but i wondered what rugs i need to last me the year i have a heavyweight full neck turnout that will fit her but didn't know about medium weights or stable or fleeces? shes quite a fine Arab cross mare any help would be brill! Thanks!
i also would fo her on a rug no problrm man i cant think anymore im so obsessed help me
Q:Rather than step into his litter box, that stays clean because I know how picky cats are, he'll crap on my bathroom rugs with his litter box not a foot away from him. Is it a territorial thing? Would he stop if I bought new rugs? I'd have already thrown his butt outside, but he's declawed. I hate having to keep my bathroom rugs folded over all the time because of the little stinker.
I went through this exact same problem. I moved my cats litter box from the bathroom to the office about 6 months ago. She started going to the bathroom to use the restroom and used the rug instead. The vet told me that I shouldn't have moved the litter box, so I won't do that again. I found that a cat will not go to the restoom on reynolds wrap. Just lay it out flat and leaving it laying there for awhile. It takes several weeks to get them back into the habit of going in the correct place. Also, clean the rug well or remove it from the bathroom. I actually threw the rug out and bought another one. I figure there really is no way to get the smell completely out of the rug. Good Luck! ( oh I also kept my cat in the office for a few days so she would get use to going in the litter box and not in the bathroom. )
Q:i spilled crazy glue on my carpet on accident. how do i remove it thanks inadvance
i don't believe there is a solvent for crazy glue. you may try ice to freeze it then clip at it with fingernail clippers so as to not take out to much at a time. good luck
Q:Also, would jute be good as i imagine lots of spills. Any ideas? And, doI really need a rug pad? Thanks!
Design rule is that your rug should be 24 behind the chair with someone seated. Mine is much less, maybe 12-18 and works fine. Jute will work but it's a bit hard to clean. On the plus side, it doesn't show spills too much. If you have cats, they might think that you bought it for their scratching needs. Invest in a good rug pad if you want to extend the life of your rug, or the rug is thin or stiff enough to slip.
Q:Hey, does anyone know any sites or stores for cheap rugs under $80? I would really like bright, modern colors, nothing oriental or traditional. Thanks so much!
This Site Might Help You. RE: VERY cheap, cute rugs? Hey, does anyone know any sites or stores for cheap rugs under $80? I would really like bright, modern colors, nothing oriental or traditional. Thanks so much!
Q:The canister filter on (specifically, directly under) my 55 gallon sprung a leak, and in total has leaked 20+ gallons of nitrate-laden water onto the carpet around the stand. The canister is undergoing repairs ATM but the carpet is still soaked. Will I have to break down the aquarium and pull up the carpet, or can I keep mold from growing another way? Also, the canister was removed and will not be back up for at least a day, so how long can I keep my fish in there without an ammonia spike?
first of all search for the water line going into your water heater and close off the water and then call a plumber and performance them pop out they're going to guard something like checking for mildew and getting it treated considering that maximum plumbers have emergency amenities on p.c. dial. they're going to be waiting to restoration your complications immediately
Q:How to clean out the stubborn stains on the carpet with a simple method
Coke is easy to wash, if there isn't too much, can squeeze the detergent (whatever detergent, washing powder is ok)in dirty places, then use a toothbrush or small brush to brush gently, until brush off the cola stains. Then use a wet towel to wipe just brushed place repeatly, until you feel there isn't remaining detergent. After getting rid of the detergent, use dry towel to absorb water on the carpet, and then use the hair dryer to dry the wet places!
Q:How can I remove wax from may carpet?
I heard you could put a paper bag over the wax and apply an iron over it to soak up the wax.
Q:How do you deal with water stains on woolen carpets soaked in water?
Carpet stains, dirt classification:A. water-based and dry stains, dirtMost of carpet stains are water-based and dry substances, including dust, sand, starch, soft drinks, tea, fruit juice stains, dirt accounted for about 80%-85%, especially for fine dust, life and work off, mostly adhere to the carpet surface. Larger dirt particles fall into the supporting layer.B. oil base stains, dirt (which includes moving and vegetable oils, cosmetics, shoe polish, ballpoint pens, oils, etc.).C. protein base stains, dirt (which includes blood, vomiting, urine, food products), these two types of stains, dirt, accounting for about 15/20%.
Q:i've asked this question 3 times before, but it hasn't worked :(Red is booked in for a trace/blanket clip in a couple of days, and i was wondering if i would need to rug her up a little bit more? she is a thoroughbred chestnut (someone told me that chestnuts have thinner skin??) and is in a 100g fill w/ a neck rug atm....the coldest it has been lately would be about 10/11 degrees c....the next rug we have is a 250g fill with neck rug, so it's quite a step up...Um... yeah... would i need to start putting that on, or do you think she will be O.K??
It's too late to clip now really unless your horse is in a LOT of work, as it will take off the top of her summer coat so she will lose her coat's water-shedding and wind-proof qualities. If she still has quite a lot of her winter coat, I would say it's time to give her a good groom over with a shedding blade and rubber curry and a bath on a dry day if you can. If you really are set on clipping her for whatever reason, stick to taking the least hair off possible and go for putting her fleece or cooler rug under the light one in the day and the warmer rug on at night. You would be surprised by how cold it is at 2am!
