Application for Unarmoured Power Cable
Used for power transmission and distribution line with voltage rated at 35kV and below. In comparison with PVC Insulated Power Cable, xlpe power cable boasts not only characteristics of excellent electricity, mechanism, heat and aging-resistant, environment stress-resistant and chemical corrosion-resistant, but also simple structure, light weight, no restriction by laying drop, and high temperature allowance for long-term working
The power cable is mainly complying with IEC 60502,IEC60840 standard, also can be produced according to OEM requirements and other standards, such as BS, DIN, ASTM, VDE, NFC standards, and so on.

- Q: holes to route the cable through anyone have pics or a website so i can figure it out
- ye this is just a common problem on many cars/tucks not just ford. did a custom install on my jeep and had to cut small hole in front left insulation under dash. it came right out into open space under hood and made great place to run wire. if u cant see any holes/spaces to run it then ur gonna have to cut a hole ro have someone do a pro install for you. (ultimately its cheaper easier to diy - need power drill and a big enuf bit to fit wire thru. im sure u can figure it out, just go slow and be carful, mine worked quik and easy and sounds great. good luck w/ all that - hope i helped
- Q: Hi, my computer power supply does not have a PCI-E 6 pin power cable for my graphics card, so therefore I found a 2 (4 pin molex) to 1 PCI-E power cable Y adapter.
- Motherboard doesn't provide that connector for the video card. the power supply does. Take the side panel off and see if it has one. Can always use a 4/6pin adaptor. Most retail cards come with one. Just make sure you have enough watts and +12V amps on the PSU to run the new card. A lot of video card upgrades require an upgrade for the power supply as well.
- Q: Wire and cable manufacturing process (to be detailed)?
- Copper core per square of the safe current (continuous use) for the 2.5A, intermittent use of 4A, according to the power count 550W-880W.
- Q: I have a desktop PC that when turned on the fans works but it won't beep or display anything on screen. But after I unplug both motherboard power connectors and plug them back in, the PC stats working normally, why is that? Oh, and I tried disconnecting only the external power cable, no luck.
- Just a guess, but maybe you had a loose connection to the motherboard. Unplugging, and then plugging the cables back in, just made a solid connection.
- Q: Hello, i have a quick question, this card doesn't need PCI cables right? My power supply is 450 wattNVIDIA GTX 750 TI is the cardThank you
- Some 750ti's need more power, some don't - you have to check the card itself. Here's so helpful info - Computers are built with a power supply just barely able to power them as they are. A video card of any kind requires an upgrade of the power supply. If you don't upgrade the power supply, very nasty things can happen (I found this out the hard way! :O). Even the video cards that don't have extra power connections can draw up to 75 watts from the motherboard - that power has to come from somewhere! :D I recommend 750 watts, major name brand, semi-modular or full modular, 80+ rated, single 12 volt rail, active PFC, and so on. It's always best to have more power than you need. Power supplies are happiest running below their maximum, and they live much longer lives. You don't want to have to buy a whole new power supply in a few years just because you skimped today, do you? :O You MUST buy a power supply to feed your system plus video card! :) REMEMBER - Even the video cards that don't have extra power connections can draw up to 75 watts from the motherboard!! :O ~Helpful ~Cindy! :)
- Q: The power cable to my mom's laptop keeps making a buzzing sound that I've never heard it make. I've asked my dad, but he said it was normal. I was relieved until the cable made that noise after I unplugged it. What can it be? It is the power cable itself not the laptop.
- The buzzing noise is not that of a Laptop its rather that of the Power adapter of the Laptop so there is nothing to worry about it you laptop is as good as it can be. But i would suggest not to use that adapter for a longer time because it may cause trouble in voltage fluctuations .
- Q: I just purchased and mounted my 52lcd and I cut holes to run the HDMI cables behind the wall. As I was snaking the power cable, I realized this might not be the best way. Is there anything I need to do (I only have basic 'contracting' skills) to keep my install fire code safe?
- Sorry dude you have me there... Running the power cable behind the wall is clear and ok but what has your install fire code got to do with running a cable behind a wall...??
- Q: i bought a car from some guy.he had 2 amps but he took out onehe had the power cable running from one amp to the other. i just recently bought another amp and i was wondering if its safe to do this.he said it was working fine.he was powering 2 10 subwoofers.thats what im planning to do
- it is safebut not the best method it really depends on the guage of the wire.best to have a single large gauge running to a distribution block then a wire for each amp comming out of the block to were the amps are. blocks are fairly cheap (usually less than 20 bucks) and saferplus you get better power flow and 1 amp is not sucking all the power before it gets to the other
- Q: I'm trying to plan out my new install and I'm debating whether or not to spend money on power cable adapters and run o gauge to a distribution block thats 0g in and 4g out, therefore running a 0 to 4g cable adapter inbetween every terminal on the distribution block --or-- to Instead run 0 to the distribution block and 4 from the block to everything. I have a 1200RMS sub amp and a 200RMS 4-Channel amp. Hi output alternator. Big 3. So if anyone can give me some advice on whether or not they're worth the money that would be awesome. Oh and my amps accept 4 gauge.
- well hell yeah if you did the big 3 upgrade and end up useing 4gauge wire or thinner it will burn the wire or at least end up corroting it its too much current running through the wire and it might work for awhile but the wire will end up turning brown from the inside just go for the wire upgrade good luck
- Q: Can I connect a single HDD and a DVD drive to the same SATA cable or will that draw too much power? I have 3 sata cables and a modular 850W PSU so I could use another cable if I needed to.
- Power cables YES Data cables YES *but not recommended. (you would require additional hardware.) Normally the 7 pin DATA cables are considered 1 to 1. BUT with some hardware its possible to change that. Power cables are dependent on your power supply being big enough - 850W certainly sounds big enough but you need to know what is being used, such as is it powering hungry graphics cards etc?
