- How about a rag rug. If you have or can get a lot of old cloth, cut it in even strips and make a long, continuous braid, making sure the ends of each strip are tucked into the back side of the braid. You can then lay the braid in a tight coil and stitch it together into a round or oval rug. The different colors of cloth make an interesting pattern. - not unless you replace the carpet a burn changes the chemical properties of the material there is no way to get it out or even make it less noticeable No way that first idea will work especially with multiple burns it would look terrible

- 2 ways: Put ice in a baggie and place on the wax. When it hardens, scrape it off with a flat knife (not a sharp one). Or: Place a clean cloth on the spot and iron it. The wax will melt and be absorbed into the cloth. I find that this works the best. I spilled candle wax all over a large footstool and you would never know! Really!

- First off - Rugs/Carpet usually do not Wear out. Matting or crushing is what the consumer perceives to be wear, but it is usually a result of soil build up without proper maintenance. Your rug/carpet must be professionally steam cleaned once a year and the vacuum you use must be checked to see that the bead-er bar is functioning properly to beat at the fibers. Second - price will play a huge part in the size and type. Since this is for an elementary school and they probably do not have rug/carpet in budget, my guess is that you will be paying for it? Suggestion - go to a local carpet store and pick out the least expensive to your taste, have the store order to your size and then have it bound around the edges. You can pickup double side tape and use this to hold carpet flat. This may be your least expensive way. Good Luck.
