- Q: About 10-12 years ago we had our bathroom sink resurfaced (I don't know what with, and it's now rather pliable/rubbery), and it's beginning to peel around the faucet area, and in some very small spots in the main part of the sink bowl. Is there a best way to remove the new surface, which is quite ugly peeling, to get back to the old surface? Thanks.
- It could also be an epoxy spray that they put on there but you should find out before doing anything. It's probably better to just call it quits and get a new one. Stripping it will make a mess, release potentially hazardous gases, and just be a lot of work to bring it back to the original ugliness you covered up in the first place. Best way, sand then seal.
- Q: This morning while I was getting ready for work my 6 month old kitten Apollo was sitting in the bathroom sink. I look down and he is peeing in my sink. My 9 month old kitten Cupid was also in the bathroom too. This is the first time I have caught him going pee outside the litter box. I think that he did this to get attention from me because I pay a little more attention to Cupid. Could Apollo be spraying instead of peeing since he is not neutered just yet? SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE. SMART A** ANSWERS WILL BE REPORTED!!!
- clean the sink with bleach or pinesol do discourage it from doing it again and make sure the litterbox is clean. my cat did the same thing only it wasn't just pee.
- Q: What is the quality of the wash basin, what are the different types of washbasin material?
- Toughened glass basin is a common material basin, its biggest feature is the strong anti-fouling ability, easy to clean, and the steel basin style and diverse, full of personality, easy to different needs of customers choose.
- Q: I am just wondering if it will clog anything.. I don't really care that the necklace is lost because it wasn't very expensive but I just don't want the necklace to mess up anything. I REALLY don't want to open all the pipes and stuff either, messy job. Notice that this is the whole necklace, it was just a silver chain with a cross..So is there any harm in leaving the necklace in the drain?

- Q: My bathroom sink fills up very quickly and takes a long time to drain, plus there is a foul, sewerage smell when it overflows. i have also noticed a 3 diameter pipe in my backyard that is uncovered. Should it be covered? Is that why im getting the foul smell inside? And how do i fix my sink so that it doesn't overflow? Any help is kindly appreciated!
- bathroom sinks usually plug up with hair. take a wire hanger, and form a small hook on the end, and fish out the hair balls/soap scum. once you have removed the debris, you can plunge the drain. be sure to cover the little vent hole in basin near the top on the sink when you use a plunger. I have no idea what the pipe in the back yard, has to do with your sink troubles.
- Q: Ok I was washing my bathroom sink with some sort of cleaner and apparently it was not the right kind. Since then the sink does not drain properly (dirty water stays in it for days and days) and there are a million little hairs (from shaving) stuck in the basin. It seems it melted whatever material it is made out of (some kind of ceramic, i think). Not only is it gross and hard to use (I cant run water for very long or it will fill up) but I am also afraid what it is going to cost. Does anyone know how I can fix this, or how much it is going to cost (to be taken out of my apartment deposit)? Thanks.
- try drano or something to clean the drain
- Q: how do you unstop a bathroom sink?
- Place a bucket under the U shaped pipe under the sink. Loosen the nut at each end of the U and then remove it. This is called the trap. Clean it out. Look inside the pipe going into the wall and check for hair and such. Remove any with a wire (coathanger etc). Look down from above the sink to see if any more debis is in the pipe. Reconnect the trap and run or pour hot water down it. If it is still clogged, use an enzyme drain cleaner such as DraineCare by Zep. Available at Big Box stores and hardwares.
- Q: We just bought a mobile home and upon moving in we noticed that there is a burn on the bathroom sink, we did a tour of the place a few weeks ago the previous tenants were still living there so it had to of happened in the last couple of weeks it looks as if they left a straightener or curling iron on it and it burnt the sink to the point of the plastic melting and now it looks awful! I really don't want to replace the whole sink but I'm afraid that may be the only way to deal with it, it wouldn't be such a big deal if it was in our master bedroom but this is in the secondary bathroom where visitors will be going to the bathroom, anyone know of any kind of filler we can use to fill in those holes and dips so it won't look so bad, then maybe I can paint it and you will barely be able to notice?????
- There is no way to fix such damage. Replace the sink. In future ALWAYS put a condition in the written Offer To Purchase that allows a 'last minute' inspection (after occupants are out - the day before the deal closes). Real Estate Agents HATE that kind of conditional offer and will move heave and earth to get you to drop it. Sellers hate it too. Stick to your guns and insist upon it. If you'd had that condition in your offer for this purchase, you'd have discovered that burn and been able to cancel the deal if you wanted to do so. You'll also be in a position to demand that the sink be replaced immediately ( DO NOT accept a 'promise to do so' later. ) or to demand a healthy discount on the price. I've had RE Agents tell me that they can't put a condition like that in the Offer To Purchase. That's pure BS. You can put any condition you darned well want into an offer. Obviously, if it's a ridiculous condition, your Offer will be rejected, but a final inspection is perfectly reasonable if the place is occupied when you first inspect it.
- Q: Toilet basin does not install water trap, whether it will affect people's health
- Can not install the water trap, but can not install the water seal, if it is ugly, or inconvenient to operate, you can change into another style of water seal, for example, into a bottleneck, the volume is relatively small.
- Q: How to embed the water and electricity in the basin
- Below the basin put a cold water and a hot water, and then hose connected to the basin above, remember that there should be a drain
