Q: The sink in my bathroom is backing up. Does anybody have any trick to unclog it. I'm not sure about using drain'o. I heard that just makes it worse.: I used drain o when my sink got clog and was not draining and had no problems with it and my sink works better then ever now. I used the gel type, not sure if it matters. Though I also know that I had a friend use drain o in his tub and he believes it created a solid in his drain, since it completely stopped draining after using it. A few days later his drain started working again on it's own and the clogged seemed to slowly disappear. His drain works perfect now, so I would try drain o again if I need to. Though I hope to never experience what he did.
