Q: My bathroom sink has a really, REALLY slow drain. Im not sure of what the parts are called so bare with me. I was able to take the bottom pipe, at that makes the u, at the bottom of the sink drain out and there was nothing there. I looked up, through the sink drain and that was clear. I then took a snake and put it into the wall and snaked the pipe as far as I could. I did get &quot;gunk&quot; and I thought that I cleared whatever was blocking the pipe creating the slow drain, but apparently I didnt. Right now Im just waiting for the sink to drain again to take that U off so I can snake the wall again. Thats all I can think of doing. Is there anything else for me to do, or is just keep snaking it my only option?: A slow sink drain is usually a hair block in the stopper arm but you are past that so the snake will work but I suspect an air lock or a full main drain line and that means either the main sewer line is blocked or the septic tank is full. If the snake does not solve the problem then you need a professional drain cleaning company.
