Q: Ive poured pounds of food particles down my kitchen sink, and I dont even have a in-sink grinder, and the sink never clogs. But one well-timed dump can clog the toilet like that. Why is that?
The bathroom pipe is smaller and theirs hair in it. Usually the hair get hung up on the maechanism that closes the drain. Kitchen doesn't have that.
Q: The bathroom counter basin cabinet what material is better to waterproof moisture
Buy a large brand of products, such as Baikal, Eagle, heart sea gamma blue, high first; you go to the market is.
Q: Bathroom wash basin fitted with the cabinet or not equipped with a good cabinet?
It depends on the size of the bathroom and the layout to decide. If the bathroom is too small, the top is too low, it is best not to use the cabinet, of course, with the function of the cabinet is relatively strong, you can bath towel shower and some small things.
Q: Bathroom washbasins the narrowest width
Can be customized to die
Q: i smell a bad smell form the drain of my sink... i believe the contractor who installed it forgot to block off one of the pipes or something. suggestions on what might be the cause of the bad smell?
There are no pipes to forget to block off in the sink the air vent could have had a plug in it could have caused an vent to be plugged but other then this, there is just another way the vent could be blocked, Running a garden hose down the roof vent and the turning it on periodically may solve the problem.
Q: Under the basin of the old wet despair, the water does not overflow normal
Stretched into the white tube inside, there is no problem.
Q: how do you install bathroom sink faucets?
1. make sure you have at least 2 wrenches or 2 pair of pliers or something to loosen and tighten the lines. 2. Turn off the water valves under the sink. If you do not have valves under the sink you will have to turn the entire house off. If the latter is the case, make sure you buy some valves to put under the sink before you turn the water back on. It would suck to be without water if something goes wrong and you do not have valves to make sure your bathroom doesn't flood. 3. Turn the faucet on and make sure all the water is drained--if it continues to drip then try playing with the valves some more--but realize that they are not indestructable and could break if you put too much umf into em. 4. Unhook the water lines from the old faucet using two wrenches usually. If your old water lines are not in good shape, it is the perfect time to get new and have one less thing that can go wrong. 5. If you are not sure, write on the wall or the back side of the cabinet which is hot or cold so you don't hook em- up wrong on the new one. 6. Loosen the nuts (usually plastic unless really old) on the bottom side of the faucet itself. The faucet will pull out through the top once these have been removed. 7. Clean up any remaining residue from the old faucet. 8. Follow directions that come with the new faucet. Should take between 15 minutes and 1? hours--depending on how hard it is to get to and how long and old the existing faucet is. If you get in a bind--then you can call someone to come do it for you--but there is no science to replacing a faucet. Have fun-I hate plumbing--unless everything works right.
Q: The water just sits in the sink for hours.
Hi there, You can go to a hardware store and (in the plumbing department) look for something called a sink auger also may be called a sink cleanout. This device is about two feet long and looks like a spring with a hook on the end. There will be instructions on the package but basically you just insert it into the drain and rotate. The hook on the end should loosen the clog or allow you to pull the clog out. If in doubt find a clerk and tell him/her what your problem is and ask for a recommendation. I would not try any of the liquid products that claim to dissolve clogs. Usually they do not work for me. If the sink auger does not work you can remove the p-trap under the sink and usually find something is stopping it up. It will be easy to unclog the trap once it has been removed. Hope this helps, Al
