Q: so when i turn the water on this horrible smell comes from the bathroom sink. what can i use to get rid of it?
I would try vinegar and/or baking soda. You could also try boiling a pot of water and then pouring the hot water down the drain. You could also go to a home improvement store and buy a snake to try dislodging anything that could be stuck in there and causing the odor. I wouldn't pour bleach or any other chemical down the drain in case it is sewer gas. The bleach and the gases could combine to make you sick, or worse yet, go kaboom! Call your landlord or a plumber if general cleaning doesn't work.
Q: My bathroom sink is dripping, I don't even know how I managed to see it because its only dripping maybe once a minute. Both handles are tight. Not sure whats going on with it, and no one in the house knows anything about plumbing. Just need to know maybe a good place to start looking for a problem.
more likely hot or cold washer is about to fail. Turn off water to sink remove hot an cold pop tabs unscrew screw an then turn Faucet till the assembly lifts up look at bottom of assembly find washer at bottom remove its screw go to Home depot or lowes an get exact same washer screw everything back an your leak should disappear.
Q: Bathroom basin basin faucet blocked, how do?
Will tap the twist to find their own tools to clear about
Q: I cleaned out the Tube under the bathroom sink, there was gunk in there. However when i put the tube back in it's still clogged. I even cleaned the shaft running from the drain to the tube.
Don't worry just give a call to Pathfinder Plumbing... They will solve your all your plumbing issues...
Q: my sink has a stench coming up from the drain i believe. not sure what it is or how it got to smell so bad, but seems like it only comes up when i turn the water on(like the water gets the smell moving). really dont know what to do here? any advice?
You need to remove the drain cover and remove the inner parts under the drain cover. There is probably hair and other debris stuck in there. Get a small drain cleaner at Lowe's and remove all the gunk. Then get an old tooth brush and clean all around inside the drain.
Q: Our house is really really clean but for some reason weve got these flying insects (really tiny) around our bathroom sink. Yesterday morning there were about 5 and I killed them all by splashing water on them. I came back later in the afternoon and there were about 20! My mom took a can of lysol and sprayed them down but there were more again at night. I think they might be fungus gnats because they seem to relish in the moisture. But how do I get rid of them? Someone suggested pouring bleach down the drain but I think this will only be another temporary solution for these pests. HELP!

Q: how to attach a bathroom sink?
what type of bathroom sink? pedestal - mount the basin on the wall at the appropriate height with lag screws, attach plumbing, and slide pedestal in place to hide plumbing marble/composite one piece - latex adhesive caulking on the top edge of cabinet, caulk to wall, attach plumbing in the proper location, it will also help hold it in place cast cowl type (ceramic) set in existing countertop with hole - adhesive tub and tile caulk, let dry before attaching plumbing porcelain bowl - use swing-style sink clamps provided (just like your kitchen stainless sink)
Q: Am at wits end. Probably have to call a professional. The rubber seal on this Delta faucet is almost non-existent and somewhat leaking but not profusely Someone had suggested unscrewing the 2 faucets, did that, but then what next? The faucet itself is intact to the sink. Why did someone think it would lift out? It does not.The only way to get to it is from underneath and it is very tight space, the vanity is very small. The sink is in the way so I can't even see the underneath of the faucet itself from inside the cabinet, it is way back and like I said, the space is very very small. Looks like the sink probably has to be removed first? Such a pain for such a small job.Thank you.
In order to be able lift the faucet from the sink, you'll have to squirm underneath the sink and remove two or more attachment clips as well as the hot and cold water supply connections. However, that shouldn't be necessary in order to replace any seals. Shut off the water supplies underneath, remove the faucet handles, the plastic water mixers, and the rubber seals. Using a repair kit from Lowe's or a plumbing supply store, replace all of the seals. Reassemble, reconnect water supplies, and you should be leak free.
Q: My family's bathroom is relatively small, so do the wet and dry separation, the basin into the aisle over there, so put the basin at the three walls I posted the wall. But yesterday found that the three walls at right angles, there is not straight, and a big difference. They said that the wall of my house was oblique, but even if it was oblique, it should be cemented with clay. Now we are worried about the time to buy the basin, certainly less than the edge, and can not paste the wall. This is ugly, I LG want to re-posted the wall over there, I would like to ask, that re-posted brick can also use the previous brick? And if not rework, how to solve this corner is not straight, the basin put up to paste it?
Decoration company has not been through it? My home that position to stay in the size of the basin than I bought a little bigger, the decoration company said that playing with silicone should be almost ~ but too much difference is not to re-shop it? Decoration company shop tiles should not be considered when the level and vertical problems?
Q: how do you fix a hole and crack in a Porcelain bathroom sink?
I wouldnt recommend fixing a porcelain sink as there may be further hidden damages you cant detect. Thats why toilets are always replaced when a crack appears. Considering people usually exert some force on sinks and the constant temperature fluctuations from water, hidden damage may suddenly cause the sink to further crack or face a catastrophic failure (shatters or falls apart causing property or personal damage). Porcelain sinks are pretty affordable these days and would be worthwhile for you to invest in a new one to reduce your risk. Please note if you do change the sink, you will need to replace or transfer the taps to the new model, a new strainer/PO and potentially some minor changes in your drainage.
