What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- When you can't be there to supervise, use a crate. But only for 2 hours at a time, maximum. It's up to you to correct the behaviours you don't want - but good luck if you have two puppies at the same time, unless you are experienced! It's not a good idea to have two as they will tend to listen, follow, each other, rather than you. Prevention/avoidance is always the way forward and if they are getting at your sofa, remove dogs from sofa, or sofa from dogs. Problem solved.
- Q: Less than a yr ago i got a sofa sectional w- 2 recliners a sleeper. Less than a month after i bought it i had some friends spend the night the sleeper closed on them. Nobody got hurt thankfully. I then called Ashley Furniture the next morning complained. I did have a warranty insurance on the couch. I had to spend months complaining 3 mos later they send someone to look at it. It takes him another month to send a replacement sofa. I got the new sofa in so i felt it was safe i had my parents sleeping on the bed and it closed injured my 64 year old dad. (He has back problems anyhow). I felt it could have been the hard wood floors making it close up. So i got carpet installed under the sofa area. Well sure enough my best-friend was here sleeping over. It closed again injured my friends knee. I called told them all this asked if there was a recall on this sofa they said no. The model # is 8890397. I can't find the sofa on the website anymore. Where can i go to find out.
- If somebody was REALLY injured, a lot of attorneys will jump on this case. It will not cost you anything. Call a personal injury attorney and go for a consultation.

- Q: I am moving into an apartment and would love to get some help ...Trying to create a modern look and Im centering the whole decor on our sofa set which is beige green with black brown wood on the edges of its arms.The color palette for the decor will be slat blue, white and a bit of orange (just for the flowers)..Wondering if it okay to get a white coffee table...The tv console is also black-brown.Also, what color should i chose the area rug ? Neutral or Green ? There will be some indoor plants also ...hence the thought for a green rug...Thanks for the help.....
- Go with a neutral rug. Do you like natural fibers such as sisal or jute? I think this style would go well with the pieces you've desribed. Shades of green are really hard to match, and if the rug looks off with your sofa, it will not be attractve. For some reason, I cannot envision a white coffee table with the other pieces. I think it might stand out too much and take over as the focal point in the room. What do you think of cream or ivory? Or maybe even an organic material such as wicker with a slate top. I can even see a glass top with your color palette. It has the feeling of sophistication and coolness that would go with your other pieces. I don't know how you plan to use the slate blue, but I'd spread a little more orange around the room. Maybe in a throw pillow or two, in a piece of art, a bottle, dish, or vase, etc. I love orange for accents and have several splashes of it in my living room.
- Q: I had a sofa specially made and a rocking chair covered, it cost me approx ?1,200.The company told me the sofa would last a lifetime, now only after 4 years the sofa is has holes in it where the material has worn away, it only has very light use, and my partner is the only person that sits on it,The rocking chair has had no use at all as it is in my spare room, so whether that will wear in the same way I do not know.I phone the company, and he said he would part re-cover the where it has gone in holes, but the problem is I do not want this as I am sure it will wear away again in a couple of years.Does anyone know my rights in this matter?
- Frankly, I don't think you are going to get anywhere with this. I would try to see if they would give you some money instead of recovering the sofa. If you get it recovered, the recovered parts won't match the rest of it. I'd see if they will give you a cash settlement. These kinds of warranties are really not worth much! Ask for cash!
- Q: I want to get a really beautiful sofa bed for my living room. I have scoured the internet and all the sofa beds I have seen are really, really ugly.I have a beautiful couch already, and it would be great if I could just get it converted to a sofa bed.so my question is, does anyone know of any furniture repair people who will do this? how much do you think it will cost?any recommendations will be helpful.(please don't post links to already made sofa beds)

- I would worry if I didn't get to sit/lie on it first...some leather is uncomfortable, you know? And if your husband if you are married thinks the couch doesn't suit his bod you never hear the end of it for years and years, lol. I got my 2 from a company twin to Ethan Allen and they are great but some of them I tried there looked good but felt yucky. Leather lasts forever, what is $200 more over 7 years? I am usually frugal about most things but not furniture.
- Q: I've been looking all over the internet to find some kind of guide or blueprint on how to build a sectional sofa. I want to learn how to build each type of section of a sectional sofa, like the corner piece, middle pieces, and even ottomans. I JUST CAN'T FIND ANYTHING.I'm almost tempted to go to the .. gulp.. library
- I found this site using google, www.furniture-for-small-spaces ... it talks about using/buying armless chairs and what kind to look for, I guess you could use their advice to build your own armless chairs, or try finding a site that can help you build the types of chairs you find that work best for a sectional sofa? I didn't see any actual blueprintlike results though.
- Q: I cannot beleive my asking a question about sofa cushions but here I go. We have a perfectly fine sofa. However, we just tried to wash one of the sofa seat covers and the zipper broke. Now, we cannot fit the seat cover back on the foam cushion. It is an older sofa but it is decent shape. I do not want to reupholster the whole couch or replace the foam cushion. I just need to purchase one seat cover. I have no idea even where to begin. Does anyone know where I can purchase couch seat covers?
- If it's an older sofa, as you said, you'll never find a replacement. Other than a new sofa, re-upholstering or slipcovers are your only option. By the way, the zipper could be replaced.Just because cushions have zippers, they shouldn't be washed, as you found out.
- Q: I have a cream sofa, it has crayon food stains on ive tried cleaning it with stain remover but it never takes it all off and i cant afford to pay someone to clean it, any suggestions on what might work?
- Dump a quart of goat blood on the carpet next to the sofa. I guarantee no one will notice the crayon and food stains. Also, you might want to invest in some coloring books and plates for your children.
