What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- it won't confuse him ... let him on the furniture already, just train him to get down when you say and all will be fine ... my jack russell is allowed on my furniture but i have two friends who to not want her on their furniture with both myself and my dog respect that ... the dog does not even try to jump up on their furniture ... so they can learn some furniture is okay and some is not ... and i have never in over 30 years had a dominant dog and all of my pets have been allowed on all furniture from 8 weeks on ...

- Futons are great space savers but not really practical for every day use and the cushions never stay in place properly when you use it as a sofa. Plus they can be a bit low. If you can cut back on other stuff you want to buy then invest what you save in buying as good a sofa bed as you can. Much nicer to sit on and some can be folded away with the bedding in place so you don't need to find room to store the pillows and duvet.

- Steam cleaning will bring it back. You can either have it professionally done, rent a steam cleaner, or do it yourself if you own a steam cleaner. Cotton is fine with steam cleaning. Always check your cleaning tag on your sofa first.

- I did extensive reading about this kind of behavior in cats before litter training my cat so that I would get it right the first time. I only have one cat but I read about others with more than one and had this problem. One person was on a cat forum for weeks trying to solve the same problem and it turned out that her cats each needed their own litter tray/box, and it needed to be cleaned almost after every use, or asap. The fact is that cats are extremely clean animals and they will sniff for where their own smell is and poop there, then cover it up. So the answer is: the cat the pooped on your sofa is the one that smelled the other cats' smell in the litter box and didn't want to go there, or who was fussy about his or her own litter box being full. Once you get it so that each cat is sure of his or her own litter box and are cleaning it up after each use or as soon as you get home from work, etc., you'll never have a problem again.

- Be serious. Check the sofa for the phone. One of your friends probably left it there. And, don't act like a psychotic monkey about it. Just feel down the cushions and if necessary flip the sofa and listen if you hear anything rattle. You can remove one or two staples from the dust cover, without ripping it all up and slide the phone out, then reattach the staples like a sane person would do. Your parents are enjoying their own freedom, now that you are not in their home. You sound like you have a problem with manic paranoia. Just relax and enjoy the day.

- I would say Cream or Tan . However, if you have children or pets - you might also want to get a cover for the couch for everyday use. Because a light color will show the dirt. You can always remove the cover when guests arrive.
