Q: I have got TOYO tires for my town country minivan, these tires been graded B, can anyone explaine what does that mean? and what the differances between B and A grades on tires ? Thanks
Depends on where that B is on the tire. It could mean that it is a Bias ply tire, R being a Radial tire. There are no grade A-B-C on tires. Benefits of a radial tire are: Better fuel mileage. Softer ride, Less vibration. Extended tire life. Bias ply tire on the other hand give you: Better handling. Less pulling especially on roads heavily rutted. If you are looking at the Load Range listed on the tire then it is telling you the number of ply's Bias or radial that make up the tire. A2 B4 C6 and so on. The higher the range the more load the tire can carry, and the stiffer the ride. Hope that helps.
Q: Can the car tire burst?
According to what you have described, if there is spare tire to replace the spare tire, if there is no spare tire, it is recommended to call the local trailer service phone, the car dragged to the nearest regular tire retail stores.
Q: what are the best tires to buy if you have a nissan altima 02?
I personally prefer Cooper. But. You would be better served if you went back to the dealership and ask. What would be the best set of tires that would greatly help me to achieve better gas mileage out of my car? There they would have all the leading facts to help you to choose. Hope this has helped? How does tires save gas? See below
Q: Can the car tire lose pressure?
Certainly not, no gas when the tire wall on the paste, the tire wall is relatively thin, can not be used to walk, easy to tire damage caused by tire scrapped.
Q: What is the tire screw for each car?
Tire models are different, different vehicles, tire screws are different, the specific need to see the configuration. Tire is one of the most important components of the car, its role is: to support the full weight of the vehicle, to withstand the load of the car; transfer traction and braking torque to ensure that the wheel and the road adhesion; reduce and absorb the car Driving vibration and impact, to prevent the car parts are subject to severe vibration and early damage to adapt to the high-speed performance of vehicles and reduce the noise when driving to ensure the safety of driving, handling stability, comfort and energy saving economy.
Q: I live in CT and I want to get 4 new tires for my 95 toyota camry, do you suggest snow tires or all season tires, can I use the snow tires during the summer, what is the actual difference
It completely depends on your location and how often you drive on snow covered roadways. Snow tires provide you better stopping distance and grip on 2+ deep snowy/icy roads below 25 degrees, BUT AT THE EXPENSE of stopping distance, handling, wear, and noise on plowed roads above 25 degrees. Therefore, it better be worth it to you to have good snow grip to give up all the other qualities when it's not snowing outside in the wintertime. This becomes an especially difficult choice at the beginning and end of a season because of the temperature swings. Snow tires are downright dangerous above 40 degrees because they become so soft. I felt like I was more likely to get in an accident during times when the roads were clear and dry.so you definitely should NOT be using snow tires in the summer. In my honest opinion, manufacturers have marketed snow tires WAY farther south than they should be. If you really only want one set of tires for the entire year you should be looking at all seasons. BF Goodrich Traction T/A's have worked well on one of my cars.
Q: Question, one of my tires was destroyed (huge hole from hitting a rock or something, can't be repaired). My question is, I can't find the same brand tire as the one I had, so I have to go with a different brand than the other 4 tires on my car. Does this matter at all? 1 tire will be a different brand than the other tires but the tire will obviously fit the car (according the the size, width, etc. on the other tires). So does brand make that much of a difference if it's only the one tire? It's my front right tire. It's a 4 door Sedan.
If you have an all-wheel drive car, all four tires really should match. Apart from that, if you're a conservative driver (i.e., no aggressive cornering, etc.) the mismatch shouldn't be too much of a problem. Try to keep the mismatched pair on the rear to minimize any effect on steering.
Q: How can I rate cooper tires; and how can I compare them with Continental and good year
dress him in light clothing, wipe his skin down with a damp cool cloth once in a while, if he's over 6 months old, offer him some water in his bottle or sippy cup
Q: What is the problem with not recycling tires? What can be done to help the situation? What good will come from recycling tires?
Tyres require significant resources and energy to manufacture. Recovery of some of the resources (such as carbon black, steel, hydrocarbons) and energy can occur through pyrolysis though this requires stringent regulation of emmissions to prevent escape of pollutants, and with current technology will still release CO2. Whole tyres in landfills create instability and allow pockets for potentially explosive methane to pool. some landfills chip the tyres before landfilling. Mountains of stored tyres are a fire hazard. I have seen very successful reuse of tyres as material to construct comfortable outdoor furniture.
Q: how to do a tire rotation?
Remove entire wheel assembly and switch them back to front if there is no arrow on the tire you can switch sides left to right.
