Q: I have got TOYO tires for my town country minivan, these tires been graded B, can anyone explaine what does that mean? and what the differances between B and A grades on tires ? Thanks
Dark green leafy vegetables I think.
Q: I am tired alot why?
It could be such a thing as a sensor being plugged. Newer cars have all sorts of sensors to monitor air coming it fuel mixtures, oil levels, etc. any one of these can make the light come on. You should get it checked out. However, unless the light is on it will probably not show up when they plug in the 'computer' Good Luck!
Q: Today, I was driving up a tight canyon in Colorado with summer tires (Goodyear Eagle F1s). The road was clear of ice, but the outside temperature was in the teens. Do I need to be running winter tires?
Not if it is not snowing or you have icy roads but.............. Winter Tires are designed to deliver safety and control in snow, ice, and cold weather conditions. Many people think that all-season tires can deliver this same performance, but this is not true. The superior traction that winter tires deliver, as much as a 25 to 50 percent increase over all-season tires, can very well be the margin you need to stop in time or turn to avoid trouble.
Q: or how can i find out? I have a 1995 monte carlo z34also can you get any rims; is it just the tire that matters?
have the transmission adjusted, it's probably the bands
Q: 4x4 tyre 255/60/15 h.any one know what the tyre pressure is on this tyre size,or where i can get it.
check the drives dooryou will find a sticker if the Tires are the Origanal Equipment this will give you the proper amount .
Q: What is meant by balancing a tire?
take it to a tire shop. the easiest way to explain it is. go look at a tire on the nearest car. you see that little metal piece on the edge of the rim? that is a counterweight. it should be about 1-2 inches long, and they have various weights. when a tire gets going fast, if it is not properly balanced (weight evenly distubuted) it will start to wobble. to correct this, they identify the heavy spots, and add weight to the light spots to keep the forces on opposite sides of the tire equal. hope that explains it.
Q: PS how to car tires do car dynamic, there are filters?
Elliptical tool to circle the tire - filter - fuzzy - radial blur (rotation, size selected 45%) - filter - style - wind (choose "wind" pay attention to the direction of the wind), edit - Fade to the wind (to reduce the line to 40% to make it more natural)
Q: When I had my tires rotated last month, Family Tire (the place where I got my tires rotated) told me that I would need 4 new tires by October because they would be worn out by then.I went to a mechanic a week ago, he said that the tires looked fine.My girlfriend says we shouldn‘t need to get the tires rotated because the tires were Sumitomo which, to my understanding, is supposed to be the best tire you can get.I can‘t tell if they‘re worn out or not. Is there a way to tell? I don‘t want to drive on the highway and suddenly get a flat and get in an accident.
My friend, don't down shift, unless it's absolutely necessary to avoid a major accident. Reason for this, brakes were made to take the stress of stopping a vehicle. The transmission was not. It cost less to fix the brakes, than to replace the transmission. I see this all the time at the mechanics shop I used to work at. Particularly in standards. The brakes are there for a reason, just like the emergency brake. Think of it this way. Your going 70 mph on the highway, and you down shift, either a manual or a standard transmission, to the next gear. You are now putting the centrifical force of either the flywheel (standard) or the torque converter (automatic) at a 70 mph speed, probably around 2 -1/2 to 3 thousand rpms, to the next gear down. This pre-maturely wears out each type of these units. Automatic transmission rebuilds can cost up to $1,500 or more depending on the type. Standards slightly less. New ones can run around $3,000 or more, also depending on type. Your hybrid comes with a 600 lb. battery. The weight of about 2 passengers. It gets it's charge from a dyno while in motion. This battery is costly to replace. At one time it's cost was around $10,000, and it has to be removed with a small crane. Now the cost is lower, but not worth the headache to pay to replace it still. I hope you please take what I am stating into extreme consideration. This won't answer your question, but hopefully save you alot of money and headaches in the long run.
Q: my tires were shaking everytime i drove on the highway over 60mph. and everytime i made long turns left or right. like when i‘m entering or exiting the highway. My right front tire got a flat but the mechanic said he is not putting that tire back on my car so i bought a new one and i notice that it did not shake anymore on the right side. So i‘m thinking i should change all the tires. but now the left side is shaking period not matter if i turn or not and if i go faster than 50 mph. the whole car is shaking and its sounds and rides like the tire is flat. But i checked all the tires and put air in it. and it is still shaking. i know for sure i need new tires because I can barely stop without sliding but what is the shaking, do i need the tires rotated or something?
if your tires are that bad it could be an internal belt in the tire has let loose. try swapping tires with the 1 new one and see if the problem moves to where you put the old one
Q: What should the tire pressure be for a 1991 Ford Escort LX? I cannot find it on the sticker on the door.
I'd go with what DoggFishEgg said. Do NOT ever use the pressure stated on the tyre itself. That is the maximum recommended pressure that the tyre is designed to take, and will always be a lot higher than the pressure recommended for any car that tyre is fitted to.
