Oil Drilling Grade PAC&CMC |
PAC&CMC can be used in drilling fluid, fixing fluid and fracturing fluid. In drilling fluid, it works as viscosifier, filtration reducer, and rheology controller; in fixing fluid, it is used to control fluid viscosity, suspend heavy objects, and avoid fluid loss; in fracturing fluid, it is used to carry stuffing and avoid fluid loss. |
- Q: I just got my transmission fluid drained and refilled. I wanted to put some Lucas transmission Fix in afterwards but the mechanic put another kind in already. Can I still put Lucas in?
- Generally, using car products that uses the words Fix, Mystery Repair, etc. won't work AND may actually cause more damage. In the case of transmission, it can cost you over $2000 to have it Rebuilt. So if you do have problems, AND several transmission shop says your transmission needs Rebuilding, then I would try the Transmission Fix additive. Answer to your question: It is ok to mix additives together, as long as you do not over fill the transmission. Same about Engine oil. Note: Better than 99% of Car Repair Transmission shops do not know how to really fix Transmission. Their Solution is to tell you, your transmission needs to rebuilt or replaced with a brand new one! Very Expensive! $2000 to $5000 ! IF you decide to have it Rebuilt, know that it may not even fix the problem ! Get a Warranty of, at least, 5 years on Parts Labor. If they won't give you that kind of warranty, then THEY have no confident in their work. Either buy a new one, get a used one from the salvage yard ( a bit risky but cheap), or get another vehicle.
- Q: What is the best additive? The transmission shifts a little hard sometimes. Its a new (rebuilt) tranny, that i just installed about 1500 miles ago. 1989 ford thunderbird, AOD
- something that has been just rebuilt shouldn't need any kind of additive, take it back to whoever rebuilt or installed it and have them fix it, probably just an adjustment on the outside of the transmission.
- Q: Are there any common household products that could be added to a childrens swimming pool to eliminate or discourage the growth of mildew or any other potentially nasty germs that could end up in the pool?Any links would be greatly apprieciated.
- it will do both.you have a chance of blowing a seal or gasket and overfilling makes the oil to foam and cause your tranny to slip.so they dont write it on the stick for nothing.its better to be a little low then too full.as long as its not too low.
- Q: i added a bottle of STP fuel injector additive to a full gas tank on my car and then some time after i went on the freeway and the light went on could that have caused it???if so should the light go off on its on or do i have to reset it?
- well, it depends on how old your car is - if its an older car its possible some 'residue' in the fuel lines came detached an has clogged an injector if its a newer car - i am in agreement on the O2 sensor new cars are hyper sensitive to anything that is related to emissions on your car - adding fuel injector to your gas is one thing or its possible that your gas cap is not on tight enough - the check engine light will also come on for that you can try disconnecting your battery and letting the car sit for awhile - it may go out - if not, the dealer or repair shop would have to reset it
- Q: The additive identity is 1 true or false?
- The additive identity is the number e such that when you add e to anything, you get the same number back. If I add 1 to 3, do I still have 3?
- Q: When the two additive colors blue (475 nm) and green (510 nm) are incident in equal magnitudes upon a white screen, the subtractive color cyan results. Consider two beams, one blue and one green. The blue beam is shined through a double-slit diffraction grating with slit distance of 0.0400 mm and then displays an interference pattern on a screen 1.00m away. If the green beam is then shined from the same position as the blue beam, what size diffraction grating would be required for the green beam so only a cyan interference pattern would be seen on the screen?
- one answerno this will not cause a tie rod to break, nor will it put additional strain on the front of the car. they are full of **** and are looking to get more money out of you. they should of noticed the bad tie rod on the safty or vehicle inspection that every shop now days are required to do. if they did one and didnt mark anything down. law suits are fun in this situation.
- Q: I drive a 2007 Ford Taurus and the temperature is going to be in the negatives Monday and Tuesday. What gas additive should I add to the tank to prevent freezing? Thanks!
- A full tank does not help in any way for keeping your lines from freezing. The only thing it possibly does is slow the tank from freezing, but your lines will freeze well before the much larger amount in the tank. As far as additives, you shouldn't need anything. They put enough crap in it at the refineries. If you're really worried about it, dump a bottle of 'fuel line antifreeze' in the tank. Make sure if you do add that, you drive it or run it for at least 5 minutes to make sure it's all nice and mixed. Though again, you shouldn't have to bother. The ethanol should do a fine job of that on it's own. Anything you buy will likely be a waste of money.
- Q: It has an aluminum engine with about 60,000 miles. Hyundai says ethylene glycol (green) coolant only. Seasons here can be pretty extreme. it‘s 15* F right now and it can get up to 105* in the summer. Would adding that purple stuff increase the cooling system‘s effectiveness or would I just be wasting money?
- I wouldn't use that stuff in a car as new as 2011. It won't be nescessary. A lot of times, those additives could void your warranty.
- Q: What chemicals/food additives are vegetarians not allowed to eat?
- If you do anything, take it to a mechanic and have them change the fluid and filter. Not sure if it needs it at 35K. That info should be in the service schedule in your owners manual. It will never say flush.
- Q: I‘ve not found a good additive for my truck to remove moisture(water) that I‘ve been told by many that is causing havoc with my motor.
- Submarines, hospitals and chemical companies have been doing this for years. It takes a whole lot of DC power to shock pure water, which separates it into hydrogen and oxygen. Basically, you have a nickel cadmium cylinder with a anode (negative) and a cathode (positive) side. Inside there is usually a teflon sleeve to keep the two separated after electrolysis. If they join together, the would spontaneously explode. Which is how the shuttle gets to the moon. The cathode draws the negatively charged oxygen and the anode draws the positively charged hydrogen Thus resulting in the two separate gases. The machines that accomplishes this is very complicated, with numerous gas analyzers, leak detectors and safety mechanisms. Also, these machines have to be monitored virtually 24/7 and cannot be monitored and maintained through just a few simple car gages. Also, the water has to be pure. Any impurities whatsoever could cause an explosion. So, be very careful when playing with this stuff. The problem with this technology, as stated before is that you expend far more energy to separate these two gases, than you could produce by their burning At least with today's technology. It would be very nice to run off of water but also very dangerous and probably not worth the expense, considering the hazards involved. Did I mention the space shuttle?
