- I'm not sure how safe it is,but I also know there are some things in soda that is also used as a component in agricultural fertilizers.I rather make things at home,intead of getting processed foods.I know what goes into them,and how they are prepared.Processed foods are nothing but additives,artificial flavorings,and artificial sweeteners.You really don't know what you are eating when you eat processed foods.So many people don't really think about that,just the taste.
- Q: I‘m in california so smog checks are a little harder here. I had my 84 jimmy tested and although i passed emissions, i failed visual inspections because of an exposed wire, unplugged minor vaccuum tube, and my idle speed rpm was too high. i have all this fixed, but because of the vaccuum hose im afraid my emissions might go higher now that it‘s plugged in. I don‘t think it‘d be TOO much, but i was nearing the limit for carbon monoxide. the guy doing the check said he didnt think the hose would make it go over when plugged back in, but there is that chance because it most likely will go up. I‘ve tuned up recently, and I‘m wondering about fuel additives as a just in case. I‘ve heard conflicting opinions, some people swear by them, some people say they‘re complete BS. The only time I really noticed a difference was in my old car i used one especially for cleaning out dirty carburetors, which mine was, and there was a minor performance increase. Anyone have any actual good things to say?

- it depends what u make. i work at a liquor store and many of the people who buy the godiva liquor also buy these chocolate edible shot glasses and use those to make after dinner drinks :) i make regular chocolate mousse and add some chocolate or rasberry liquor (chambord is nice) and mix it in the mousse then put it in the chocolate cups with shaved chocolate on top or a rasberry as a garnish.it looks pretty, tastes yummy and is very easy to make!!

- NOTHING. Fuel and oil additives are not necessary, they are just snake oil Modern fuels and oils have all the additives required. Change the oil regularly, keep your fuel clean, change filters when needed, and you will not have problems. Playing junior chemistry set with a hodgepodge of additives can actually damage or even ruin the car. Fresh, clean, quality fuels and lubricants do not need you to mix in ANY additives.
- Q: are fuel and oil additives a waste of money? i use fuel additive with increase lubricity and adds cetane. i use oil additives which prevent dry starts and decrease friction and reduce cylinder wash. while driving and listening to the road dog trucking show i heard a guest say that if oils and fuels needed the additives they would already be present in them from the beginning. they are an unnecessary waste of money. when i use these additives i can hear the difference in my motor especially when pulling a hill. normally when i pull a hill without any additives i can hear the pistons hammering away and if i work the engine too hard the hammering sound becomes a loud chatter. not with the additives; even on big hills the engine sounds smooth and quiet and the temp stays below 200F and the fan rarely kicks on while i pull a hill with these additives.without the additives, the engine runs hotter and kicks the fan in more times. how can he say that additives are a waste of money?
- You be the judge. If what you just said is true, they seem to work for your problem. I had a problem with my 1989 Trans Am cutting out under a heavy load just as if it wasn't getting enough fuel. The fuel pump and the fuel filter were changed not to long ago. So I figured -what h***. I dumped in 4 bottles of STP gas treatment and after about 3-4hours of driving the problem went away.you tell me if they work. I think it depends on who you ask. I know they do.
