Product introduction

Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether, made by natural high polymer cellulose as raw material and series of chemical processing. They provide water retention and cohesiveness to mixtures. With special modification, it can be used to control thickening, water demand, workability, sag resistance, strength and other important properties of the final product.

It is widely used as thickener, adhesive, water preserving agent, film-foaming agent in building materials, industrial coatings, synthetic resin, ceramic industry, medicine, food, textile, agricultural, cosmetic and other industries.

Q: Food additives in dairy and dairy products?
The most common food additives in dairy products are vitamins A D. They are typically added to milk.
Q: Why was stevia outlawed as an additive in the US?
Just to show you how messed up drug laws are in the US, it's illegal to sell Stevia rebaudiana as a food, or food additive; but it's perfectly legal to do so, if it's labeled as as dietary supplement, or as a plant coloring. In other words, you can sell it, with a few extra labeling requirements, you just can't ADD it to anything. The FDA outlawed S. rebaudiana in the early 1990's after a number of (anonymous) complaints about it's potential as a carcinogen. These fears have since been shown to be unfounded in several well controlled studies. Nevertheless, the FDA has turned down a number of industry requests (notably by Coca-Cola,) to use S. rebaudiana as a low calorie sugar substitute. Stevia sp. has been used for centuries in South America, and commercially in Japan for nearly 30 years, with no substantial reports of ill effects. (My personal opinion, is that the FDA banned it, for no other reason, than under the table lobbying and pressure from the artificial sweetener businessEven compared to sugar, S. rebaudiana is pretty cheap.) Q: help me this is for my h.w. due tomorrow
-6 the additive inverse is a number you add to it to equal 0.
Q: My car just came back from the mechanic and he told me to keep an eye on the transmission because sometimes when you set the car to reverse it takes awhile before it kicks in. He said it could be that it is sticking and needs more additives? But then we got distracted and I never got a chance to ask how the heck do I find out? By the way, my car was in for a different problem and I had specifically told him I only had money to fix that so that is why he didnt look further into the transmission thing. So anyway, here are a couple of questions:what is additives and how do i know if i need them?while we‘re at it, how do I check my transmission fluid? (just in case my mechanic didn‘t)if you have any other suggestions as to what this problem might be and how I can fix it, Id love to hear itIf it matters, I drive an 03 Dodge Intrepid that has about 80k.Thanks!
Ok heres how your check the transmission fluid on a car. First drive the car and get it up to normal operating temperature. Then when you get home or where you are, leave the engine running and check the fluid. Now, if the reading is below the cross hatch marks. Then your had a half quart a time. After adding the transmission fluid then get back in the car and put it in reverse then drive and hold it in each gear for a few seconds. Then repeat process until the transmission fluid is full. More than likely its low. My car does that when its low on trans fluid. If the transmission fluid is not low then go to an autoparts store and get a bottle of lucas transmission additive, (The guy at the counter will help your find it) Then just add the whole bottle. Overfilling the trans by 1 quart wont hurt it. You will need to get a long skinny funnel or a transmission funnel from a parts store before you can add anything.
Q: I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS USED THIS ADDITIVE AND IF IT ACTUALLY WORKS, OR IF THERE IS ANY OTHER SIMILAR ADDITIVE I CAN ADD TO THE PAINT BEFORE I REPAIR THE HOLES.THANK YOU
This is not that usual of a problem. They don't do it for the sake of making a hole. Usually they do that to get at bugs of one kind or another. I would consult with a pest control company to see if there may be an infestation of some kind in your siding or what ever the woodpeckers are making holes in. Not heard of an additive to prevent woodpeckers, just for insects.
Q: suppose somebody invented a cheap chemical additive to induce a 40% fuel saving, what should he do?
Probably nothing considering it wouldn't save anyone any money. A little suspicious that supposedly oil prices are so high because of its scarcity. However, ethanol which is usually cheaper than regular gas is now more expensive. Diesel which is a less refined version of gasoline is also more expensive than the oh so valuable gasoline. Make much sense? I think not.
Q: My Ford Taurus will shift smoother when I add a additive, only for a few days. What can I use to make it shift
your tranny might be shot and in need of a rebuild. or the wrong tranny fluid was used. need to check if its the fluid ford reccommends for that tranny. I would get it flushed but at a ford dealership. I am not a fan of dealerships. but with tranny and engine flushes. I have heard to many horror stories of places using the wrong tranny fluid. my dodge dakota gets its tranny flushed at a dodge dealership. atleast I know they will put the right fluid back in. if the flush dont help it. then you need to get your tranny rebuilt or replaced.
Q: What is the difference in chemical additives among leading cigarette brands?
Muffler or exhaust tip will just led to people laughing at you ,you need to do at least a cat-back setup or the full system. If the Police give you hassle then you can get a bung which fits into the muffler also there are butterfly valves available .
Q: What are the differences between the additive premix feed and the mixed feed?
the content of different feed additives. The former content is high, the latter is low.
Q: Does anyone knows if engine oil additives such as lucas or any others are good or bad for our engine? I tried to Google it and still am not sure.
Rarely. Such additives should only be used if your have a known sludge condition within your engine. Otherwise, they are a total waste of cash.
