Q: Select the expression that represents the additive inverse of .A) 5/4B) 4/5C) -4/5D) -5/4Please explain how you got the answer
i use fuel injector cleaner. don,t use reg. dry gas or it can eat the o-rings on the injectors. you might want to change the fuel filter too. it might be starting to clog up.
Q: is there a additive i can add to engine oil that will eliminate smoking from tailpipe?
No, not really. All you can do it switch to a thick motor oil, like 20w-50. When oil gets hot it gets thin and then sneaks past worn out engine parts and it burned inside the engine thus causing smoke out the tailpipe. A thicker motor oil will thin less than a lighter weight oil. So a 5w-30 will thin faster and more than a 20w-50.
Q: Like the amsoil and redline stuff claimed to reduce engine heat by 19 degrees f.
depends on the veh, if it's all wheel drive , yes if not then it won't hurt
Q: i heard there good but other people told me there bad.:Sso i wanna know are they good for any car or which car and if there good which brand should i buy??
Slick50 has worked well for me for years. It has increased the efficiency of my motor, less maintenance work needed, and improved gas mileage. I've had some friends use other brands but this one has worked well for me. I get the mechanic to put it in for me when I take my car in for an oil change, only when I purchase a new car. So.I only buy it once and it's usually good to go. Good luck!
Q: What kind of additive is best for dumpling skin
Add the base, you can ferment a little, you can also add eggs
Q: Safe to consume chemicals that counteract additives in food?
There are about a million food additives, including unintentional additives, so specific chemicals would be needed to counteract each of these many additives, most of which would be of doubtful safety. Example: Salt substitute potassium chloride, can help our body deal with excess salt, but too much potassium chloride is also bad. Neil
Q: I have a few questions i am wondering about. What is the sum of a number and its additive inverse? What is the product of a number and its mulitplicative inverse?please just answer i am really wondering what it is!
1. Zero; that is the definition of additive inverse. For any number x, the additive number of x is -x, so that x + (-x) 0. 2. One; that is the definition of multiplicative inverse. For any number x, the multiplicative inverse of x is 1/x, so that (x)(1/x) 1.
Q: I am resurrecting my 1884 Honda Nighthawk 700sc. It hadn’t ran since 95 but now that I have cleaned the tank; replaced oil, plugs, fuel filter, and air filter; it actually starts and runs. It has a hard time idling however and seems to backfire sometimes on a quick down-throttle. Is there a fuel additive anyone can recommend that will help clean the carbs?
You do not need to get new carbs if the only problem is sitting unused with gas in them. The best thing, as mentioned, is to take them apart and totally clean them. Or, you might want to try this first. Get a product called Seafoam. Put in the tank and run the bike at speed. It will run rough at first but if you can ride it at speed then this MAY (depending on how bad the carbs are gummed up) clean them out. This may take as little as 15 minutes riding time or as much as a tank of gas. If it still doesn't run properly after a tank then definately have to revove and clean the carbs.
Q: What situation are food additives justified?
Food additives can never be justified. With our fast paced living, additives are added to many and most processed foods. Reading labels is a good idea, and try to stay away from additives
Q: I had some horrid tranny problems before, it didnt have enough pressure to completly ****, but i changed the fluid and the filter and the vacuum module. it seems to work better, but i don‘t think its gaining all the pressure it should. i heard in several cases that add additives like that lucas tranny stuff helps the pressure and shifting. pros and cons of using it? ive already built this tranny 3 times, i just want it to work, and i want to sell it.
Lucas is about $10.00, what have you got to lose? I have heard good things about it but wouldn't swear by it. Good Luck
