- Q: How can we prove that the additive inverse -u is unique in a vector space?
- Suppose that B is an additive inverse of A, and if we also assume that C is another additive inverse of A, we will show that B C so inverses are unique. Because B and C are additive inverses of A we have: A + B 0 A + C 0 Now: B B + 0 (by the definition of 0) B + (A + C) (by the above, because C is an additive inverse of A) (B + A) + C (by associativity) 0 + C (by the above, because B is an additive inverse of A) C (by the definition of 0) So we have: B C And so there is a unique additive inverse for A
- Q: why are feed additives needed?
- Plastic will be cheaper and last for a long time.
- Q: can I use a septic tank additive of massive counts of bacteria (maybe mixed with water)to pour over my garden area to help disolve cat poop?
- yah it should all line up the only difference is the engine the body n under carraige is all the same you gonna need new headers other then that u cool
- Q: Hasn‘t been rebuilt. Old 289 from 66 mustang. I‘m talking about how fuel in the 69s had lead which I think protected the valves but now with unleaded gas I heard that it could ruin the head.
- needs hardened valve seats to run on the unleaded crappy corn gas we have now
- Q: what is a nuritent additive and what is an example of a food that has it?
- It's probably one of the b vitamins like folic acid, riboflavin, there are lots of b vitamins and they also put c in there and others. If you ever see anything that says enriched flour it is loaded with vitamins. It's in everything, bread, crackers, cookies, any snack food that's pre packaged really.
- Q: what would you suggest adding to a FO, FOWLR and a Reef tank as far as like Purple Up or is something like a simple all in one trace elements additive good enough? my Reef really does not have any coral in it, i just have a ton of live rock and those horrible EVIL nuisance anemones (that I like lol, so I leave them alone) and I do not plan on killing them (apastatia I believe). But is a basic trace element additive good enough for all three, or what are your suggestions?
- In that small of a tank, regulate with water changes. It doesn't take much and will keep everything balanced. You will not have enough livestock in there or coraline algae to deplete your calcium to the extent that you need to self dose. Of course it really does depend on your levels. You should test before dosing ANYTHING to make sure it needs it as there is a balance to the water chemistry and too much of one element may deplete or prevent the increase of another element and really mess things up. Also, what elements depends on what corals. Xenia will want more iodine and be less reliant on calcium than an acropora for example. Use a nice sand that will help buffer the tank and keep the calcium up (like crushed coral or similar composition substrate) anad reef based salts, like Reef Crystals will keep things at the levels you need.
- Q: My car just came back from the mechanic and he told me to keep an eye on the transmission because sometimes when you set the car to reverse it takes awhile before it kicks in. He said it could be that it is sticking and needs more additives? But then we got distracted and I never got a chance to ask how the heck do I find out? By the way, my car was in for a different problem and I had specifically told him I only had money to fix that so that is why he didnt look further into the transmission thing. So anyway, here are a couple of questions:what is additives and how do i know if i need them?while we‘re at it, how do I check my transmission fluid? (just in case my mechanic didn‘t)if you have any other suggestions as to what this problem might be and how I can fix it, Id love to hear itIf it matters, I drive an 03 Dodge Intrepid that has about 80k.Thanks!
- Ok heres how your check the transmission fluid on a car. First drive the car and get it up to normal operating temperature. Then when you get home or where you are, leave the engine running and check the fluid. Now, if the reading is below the cross hatch marks. Then your had a half quart a time. After adding the transmission fluid then get back in the car and put it in reverse then drive and hold it in each gear for a few seconds. Then repeat process until the transmission fluid is full. More than likely its low. My car does that when its low on trans fluid. If the transmission fluid is not low then go to an autoparts store and get a bottle of lucas transmission additive, (The guy at the counter will help your find it) Then just add the whole bottle. Overfilling the trans by 1 quart wont hurt it. You will need to get a long skinny funnel or a transmission funnel from a parts store before you can add anything.
- Q: Find the additive invers of -9 on the 12-hour clock?
- Well!!!!!! In a 12 hour clock, 12 is equivalent to zero Now, If you have any number A and if its additive inverse is B, then, A + B 0 Here, - 9 + B 0 Here 0 may be 12 also!! - 9 + B 0 or 12 Thus, B 9 or -3
- Q: are fuel and oil additives a waste of money? i use fuel additive with increase lubricity and adds cetane. i use oil additives which prevent dry starts and decrease friction and reduce cylinder wash. while driving and listening to the road dog trucking show i heard a guest say that if oils and fuels needed the additives they would already be present in them from the beginning. they are an unnecessary waste of money. when i use these additives i can hear the difference in my motor especially when pulling a hill. normally when i pull a hill without any additives i can hear the pistons hammering away and if i work the engine too hard the hammering sound becomes a loud chatter. not with the additives; even on big hills the engine sounds smooth and quiet and the temp stays below 200F and the fan rarely kicks on while i pull a hill with these additives.without the additives, the engine runs hotter and kicks the fan in more times. how can he say that additives are a waste of money?
- i don't know what kind of additives you are using but i can tell you FROM EXPERIENCE that Lucas engine oil products for the big diesel motors are crap. you should see the cam and rockers and how sludged up they are after using there products . if you can hear the pistons hammering than you may have a problem. what kind of engine are you talking about ? syn. oil is the best if you can afford it. most engine oils have enough additives if you use a good brand of oil. don't waste your money on the additives .
- Q: find the additive and multiplicative inverses for 8?
- The additive inverse of 8 is ?8. To find the additive inverse, simply take the opposite of what you are given. When you add a number and its inverse you will get zero. The multiplicative inverse of 8 is 1/8. To find the multiplicative inverse, simply make the given number the denominator of a fraction with a numerator of one. When you multiply a number and its inverse you will get one. UPDATE: uhh, yeah.you get one. Sorry! And thanks for catching my error.
